On the plus side: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at every turn. The powered shades on the windows were a nice touch, but the thermostat was a tad difficult to work with or figure out. The "Mobility Accessible" room was very roomy. The hot tub was lovely. ||The "Mobility Accessible" room that we reserved and checked into, however, was somewhat misrepresented on the website for this hotel. While the room was certainly big enough, the bathroom was not quite as pictured on the website. The shower, for instance was inside a tub with a low sidewall that I had to step over. There were grab bars on only two walls of the shower, but not the third. The tub bottom was NOT a non-slip surface, but was fairly slippery. And finally, the toilet had grab bars on only one side, which (unfortunately for me) made using it rather difficult, as they were on the "wrong" side for me. ||In addition, the room was on the THIRD floor, which I found pretty unusual—AND inconvenient!—for a handicap-accessible room. (Why is it not on the FIRST floor?) Not only that, but the distance necessary to get to the room was greater than I found comfortable. The only access to this room was via elevator, which could have been disastrous in the event of an emergency (I could not have navigated the stairs, in all likelihood). Finally, the entrance to which we were directed had no spots reserved for handicap parking. [Fortunately, we were able to use a mostly comparable "members only" parking spot, but still...] The handicap parking spots were all a considerable distance from the entrance we were directed to use. ||One thing that we did not discover until almost too late: The refrigerator was set to a temperature that froze everything we put in it, including my insulin. This could have been disastrous, especially as regards the insulin. Maintenance personnel should make sure that the temperature is set to an appropriate, normal range. ||I almost never eat the "complimentary breakfast", and this hotel was no exception to that rule. First off, it was basically all cold carb-heavy offerings (the mini-waffles being an exception to the cold—but not the carbs). I saw nothing with any real amount of protein there. ||Lastly—and I freely confess that this is a very nit-picky and personal peeve: The lighting was all that harsh, cold white lighting. Read moreWell out of all the hotels I have ever stayed at so far, and I have traveled alot this month, yours is the only place that dosent make the bed on the daily. If I was working night shift and had my do not disturb sign up then I can 100% not be dissatisfied with it cause at that point its me saying please don't but the 3 days I was their Monday I slept Tuesday I came back trash, the towels, and my bed where not done, wensday same trash, towels, and bed still weren't done Thursday so the day I checked out trash, and towels were done the bed unfortunately not so, I mean I'm not saying to put new sheets on the bed ever day but for it to be made and look like the room was touched that would of been nice yes when I go to hotels it generally not for vacation I stay anywhere from 1 week to a month... If I would be on vacation I would be even more upset cause I am on vacation I am paying for a clean room and a clean bed to stay in thank you I hope you can understand why making the bed is important and I will try to not book at this location anymore but other area might be ok this one might just be under bad management or the people just don't care I don't know the answer it could be they are lacking in trying once aging thank you, for your time,...
