I guess the housekeeper didn't want to do a complete job. Got to the room and found a Q-tip lying right smack in the middle of the cover of the made-up bed (Okay, weird and gross! I hope it hadn't been used, but I wasn't going to do a thorough inspection of it to see. Nothing like having a little bit of possibly disgusting garbage left lying around (and on the bed, no less) for the customer to have to get rid of. Was awakened after midnight by the guests arriving in the room next to mine. Kept up by continual noise until about 1:30-ish in the morning. Then there was another barrage of continual noise from 3 to 4 a.m. It was a nightmare trying to get some sleep. Was very disappointed in how easily you could hear noise from the adjoining room. The problem was largely rude people staying in the room next door, but it had to have also been just poor construction in the building. I could hear everything they did: coughing, sitting down on the mattress, what I think may have been snoring, and I could easily hear talking. I reserved the room for two nights, but it was so impossible to sleep because of noise on the first night that I refused to stay there for the second night. I don't remember ever staying in a place where I could hear so much noise and so clearly from an adjoining room. On the upside, the owner is very nice, the rooms are cute and cozy, and the price is awesome! If you're lucky enough to stay there on a night with neighbors who have a clue that they are sharing the building with other people, then this would be a great...
Read moreHORRIBLE customer service. First we had booked a room on the website, that was supposed to get an ADA room but it wasn’t. My husband uses a scooter and couldn’t even get into the room. Second, I had planned on paying cash, which according to their email was cheaper because of fees. However, when I arrived and called the owner Randy, he notified me that he had already charged my card.....BEFORE I had even checked in. Then he agreed to to charge me half. Not having the time to discuss it with him, I said okay. But the more I thought about it, the more I didn’t think that was right. So I called the company I had booked the room through. They agreed to call on my behalf. I received an email saying the Inn has agreed to cancel my reservation. Then when I called Harrison Inn to discuss when that was going to happen, I was meet with rudeness and a bad attitude from the woman that answered the phone. Read moreThis is a small motel consisting of eight units. From the outside it appears very well kept. Inside it is meticulously clean with nice furnishings in good repair. We stayed in unit #1 a large room with two queen beds, couch, side chair and table/chairs. The bathroom with shower only is spacious and modern. It feels like a comfortable, pleasant place to stay. The attention of the owner to the property upkeep is evident. To boot, the price is very reasonable.||||On our current road trip we will be staying in 23 hotels/motels and rely on trip advisor to narrow our selections.
