Whoa wasn’t expecting this little jem. Ordered three different tamales hoping to get a meal checked off my list. Boy was I sure surprised!! Each one was handmade with thoughtful, flair and taste!! They absolutely wonderful. Served purposely extra mild so that the most timid or child will scarf it up with smiles and no regrets. Now if you know the difference in flavor between, Tex-Mex, Tajuana and Puerto Vallarta you will understand the quality of the sauces and heat they can come with. The Rojas was a spended blend a chilis, habanero and fantastic heat and flavor. If you are an Utah native (or naive maybe more accurate) try a half a drop every other bite. The Verte sauce had a fresh tang that is extremely hard to find in Utah. Those classic base sauces are designed to compliment a fantastic splendor of flavor in there three different tamales. I drove nearly two and a half hours because a trusted friend recommended it and I am glad I did. If you don’t like a family friendly restaurant when they care about you and your guests you need to try some where else. If you like finding rare diamond in impossible surroundings this may be your next favorite. I can wait until I get to sample something else of the menu. If you are a trucker and looking to brighten your long haul give them a ring and watch them make your week shine. Just what the tricounty needs to keep the unique feel. This is a smaller restaurant, well equipped, and everyone who is there working is part of the same family. Fantastic and memorable meal. They even had cold monster drinks just in case they...
Read moreI took a drive that had me go through Duchesne today. I haven’t been through in a while but saw this place on Google maps and it looked too good to pass up.
Great place with incredible staff! Everyone was friendly and quick to get me seated. The chips and salsa were good, and I ordered a Chicken sope and an al pastor taco. Awesome!
Very authentic and tasty! I was actually watching the cooking going on in the kitchen. It tasted even better than it looks, and showed the commitment of the owner to provide great food!
I live an hour away, but can’t wait to plan my next trip just to...
Read moreWe had a great experience having lunch here on the was to Dinosaur National Monument. The food overall was great. The carne Asada had the best mix of spices on it, and the birria tacos with the comsume was so delicious. And honestly, the chips and salsa were the best and I could just eat those for my meal! Only complaint with the food was the fries could've been a little crisper in the loaded fries. We got the 4 leches cake and the flan. Both good, though the flan maybe could've been a little smoother in texture. The service was awesome. Very attentive and kind to our...
