Ok, I have to say, Davone is da man. He is truly dedicated to his work and provides exceptional customer service follows up with you.

This has been a review long coming. I had some issues to begin with. I had constant pain. I wasn't sure if it was my mattress. Took a vacation and slept in a friend's guest room and that whole week no pain and then I knew it had to be my mattress, because all the stretching, exercises, PT, and Ibuprofen only temporarily and barely relieved it.

So I went into Mattress Firm South Point and was helped by Davone. He really took the time to try and figure out what kind of mattress I needed, I must have been there over an hour. He's a super nice guy to boot. I knew the mattress at my friend's was a S&F. But they don't make that model anymore and we tried to find the closest thing to it and discuss why my friend's guest mattress took away the pain. We went through everything, sleeping positions, mattress make up and material, history of past mattresses, mattress firmness, type of mattress, pressure points etc.... A huge revelation from our talk was what I thought the word "firm", as in I need support is very different from an actually "firm mattress". Support does not mean a hard mattress, it's actually the opposite..

TLDR: I got the best matched mattress, my pain has significantly decreased, and all this happened without any friction. Go see Davone at Mattress Firm Southpoint if you want good solid advice and great...

While my mattress will arrive in a view days, I have to say that my experience with selecting and purchasing was exceptional. Taylor was such a pleasure to work with. She was knowledgeable and listened carefully to what I needed, including my budget. She also asked questions that made it easier to make a decision. I highly recommend that if you need a new mattress you see Taylor in the Southpoint store. And, if you haven't lately, spend a night in your guest room bed so you know what you’re asking friends and family to sleep on you might want to do that 😊 I was very surprised and owe so many an apology.

I want to add to this review, now that my mattress, box spring and pillows have arrived. Seamless!! Pleasant!! Kind gentlemen. I didn't think I'd use the barcode to track the arrival of my order, but oh yes I did. What a great feature! Their app let me know exactly where the delivery truck was and when it would arrive to me. Milton and his partner were exceptional. They had several other delivers after mine and they'd already had a long day since I was delivery 10. You would have thought I was their first stop. They couldn't not have been more professional and skilled at getting my delivery to second floor and the old mattress and box spring out....

I wanted to give a shout out to Jay, he was fantastic. My partner and I walked in expecting this to be a drag, buying a mattress wasn’t an ideal way to spend our evening but due to unfortunate events we had to. Anyways Jay welcomed us with a warm smile and such a pleasant attitude, we explained our situation our budget and he educated us with ease. (I wish he was my professor when I went to college) we learned more about beds than we ever had in our entire lives. This man has the right to brag because he truly is fantastic, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. We ended up getting a base for our mattress we currently have which he truthfully recommended instead of emptying our pockets right then and there.
