Hyatt Place Eagle Pass — Hotel in Eagle Pass

My wife and I were visiting Eagle Pass and decided to stay here. Entering the establishment, the front desk receptionist were very pleasant and professional...even added some light humor which was welcomed after a 2 + hr drive. We were provided a gift bag for our membership, some complimentary wine and that really added a smile and boosted our mood/morale. Room was clean, good AC (nice & cool), decent space for a 1 night stay. However, the bed was very uncomfortable. Noisy, sagging and uneveness. I slept on the couch which was more firm.and my wife eventually discovered an angle to lay at to get about a good 5 hours. Nice clean small gym, pool and breakfast had decent options and we think it was a tad bit too pricey for that size room. Not horrible by any means overall, just need to upgrade mattresses.

We stayed there 2/16/25 And had the pleasure of being checked in by the front desk, gentleman, by the name of Juan! He was working the evening shift and I think he’s also a night auditor.! Upon returning from plane at Kickapoo casino, we stopped in for a drink at the bar, where Manny attended us, and later Juan joined too for some chitchat! They were Both very hospitable, and great conversationalist! The restaurant was still opened and they suggested the hamburger from the menu, which was absolutely delicious! The rooms were very clean, beds were super comfortable, huge towels & very well stocked! Mini fridge & microwave too! the air conditioner was great and very spacious room! This is a brand new hotel located close to downtown Eagle Pass and the Piedras crossing. The staff here are extremely friendly and do everything in their power to make you feel like you are at your home away from home. As a World of Hyatt member, and having traveled to similar Hyatt properties across the country, this brand new hotel exceeded my expectations of what the brand. I will definitely be checking for availability here every time my travel brings me to Eagle...
