We lived in East Liverpool/Calcutta for 5-1/2 years as I worked for Shell during the construction of the site in Monaca, PA. We often return to visit friends in the area. We recently learned of the Sturgis House on our last trip 8/9/2024 - 8/12/2024. The house has amazing carpentry and design. The two ladies that managed the property were equally amazing. Mother and daughter, Lisa and Alicia were friendly and welcoming. We had the entire house to ourselves this weekend which made it feel like we were in our own house. Although we returned to our home state of Louisiana, we are still members of the East Liverpool Elks Lodge. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here on future trips back to OH/PA/WV...

Read moreI had a great guys weekend away in East Liverpool. Sturgis House is a very cool Victorian B&B. Great feel to the place. They had great local quiche for breakfast. We played the 27 hole disk golf course. Hit some of the local restaurants and took in some local depression-era gangster history. Pear tree bookstore was pretty close and a good spot to pick up some stuff to bring back home to the wife and kids. Looking forward to getting away to this place again and hiking...
