The Museum of Ceramics would probably be better named "The Museum of East Liverpool Ceramics, 1840-1930". 😏 I'll admit that I didn't know that's what I was getting into. We had a great time, though. The woman staffing the front desk was unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful. She answered our every question. The building is historic and interesting, although some of the displays are a little worn out. The basement is a gem of information, and the wall-sized photo of factory workers from the period is worth admission alone! We stared at it for a long time. There's something about life-sized photos from that period that really makes you think about who they were and what their lives were like.
