I absolutely love the store. Employees are super rude. I understand completely that you want to leave at the end of your work day, but Everytime we try to go literally the one day it was 5:45 said they started closing at that time so to come earlier so the next time (my hubby works everyday sometimes 8am-7pm) so when he gets out of work early we try to go to places we really really want to go and this is always one place we try and make a weekly visit to, so today went and got there at 5:15 and they started again talking about closing literally started shutting the lights out on us at 5:35! And respectfully my hubby bought few items he went for which he did very fast because he knew what he was going for, and the guy made a comment saying I'm here it's supposed to be my day off (rudely) so he asked him why are you here then? He never answered and continued to shut the lights out on us lol. So I've been waiting for a showcase to open up also, I've been so excited, doing different crafts, bracelet and crystal/gemstone necklaces that I find the gem and rocks at my special spot outdoors I call "Rock Heaven" , and asked the woman how much longer or how far down in line I was and she replied "whenever a showcase opens up is when you will have yours". I'm sorry but for people like myself that get excited over small things especially in a community that doesn't have many options left to offer someone because it's a depressing place to live , I get so happy seeing everyone's showcases and talents and hardwork they put into every item they have, and the staff here are so rude and unappreciative of what they have in their store. It's just a shame to see such a beautiful place have such negativity and just seems like they hate their jobs. I feel very bad for people who chose to have showcases, because the staff act like they just don't care to have customers or look at some people different because I'm younger , or maybe being judgemental for some reason when all I try to offer is my absolute respect for such a amazing store. I won't stop attending the store, but I hope next time the staff have a better day 😀 and whatever struggles they are facing, they have more happiness and stress free lives, or maybe some extra help if they need it in the store by some who appreciates it as much as I do.! Also on my part I will try to arrange to...
Read moremy sister and i(who often visit) came in at 5:43 to be greeted by an older woman who told us that they’re closing soon(they close at 6) and so i was confused as to why she would be telling us 15ish minutes before when we’ve come in around that time many other times and it’s never been a problem. she then told us that we basically wouldn’t have time to see anything(wouldn’t that be for us to decide?) and when i asked “so we’re not welcome?” she proceeded to tell us no because we wouldn’t have time to see anything(again, that makes no sense) so we just left and as soon as we left the door at 5:45 she locked the door behind us. we’re also black so i’m sure that didn’t help us lmao. i really loved this place and purchased many things for my home here. unfortunate they have people like this...
Read moreThe one older lady came up to me and some of the younger members of my family and told us that we had to check out soon (with a lot of attitude).
I get it, you’re closing at 6. This was said at like 5:25. I’ve worked retail before.
Yet, she could say it completely fine with no attitude to the older gentleman who was shopping. Questioning if this was just because me, and my boyfriend are in our early 20s. I get a lot of people who are rude just because of my age in these settings, and I get it. Young people can be rowdy. Doesn’t mean that we treat people disrespectfully. If it wasn’t her intention, then I apologize but tone of voice makes all the...
