Always A Holiday! Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in East Tawas

We travel quite a bit and over the years have stayed in many B&B's. This was the nicest bed & breakfast by far! Brenda was a very nice host and very accommodating. Upon arriving, there was a batch of fresh cookies that were delicious. The inn is decorated very nicely, without tons of accessories that you often see in B&B's. The shared areas and the bedroom/bath were immaculate...you could practically eat off of the shiny floors!! The room and bed were very comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was very nice! It was also very quiet. Breakfast was homemade and yummy! French toast over warm peaches, plentiful fresh fruit, eggs and sausage. We only stayed one night but if we are ever back in the area, we'll return! We'll tell our friends about it too!! We rate this...

We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience. Brenda, the owner and hostess, is very friendly and is accessible via phone/text if you need anything. She makes amazing, gourmet breakfasts, and has a new batch of cookies available every day. There is a mini-fridge upstairs that she keeps stocked with complimentary pop and water. The rooms were beautiful and immaculately kept, with toiletries and clean towels provided. There are some board games and DVD's available downstairs to be used up in the rooms or in the common living area. The location is within easy walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants. This was our first ever B&B stay and it was truly a memorable experience. 10/10...

If I could, I would rate this place with 10 stars! I was wandering around the state of Michigan and since I had never been to Tawas, I thought what the heck! I stopped at the "nice" hotel in town and was NOT impressed for the $100 a night price tag. I called Always a Holiday and found for a few dollars more, I would have a PHENOMENAL nights stay!! I was her only guest that night and she made me feel so welcome - the banana nut bread was AMAZING!!! I'm telling you what, that was one of my best decisions on the trip! Stay here several nights you will not regret it! I tried to think of a way to get the bed down the stairs and on top of my car - it was so comfortable!!! Wonderful place to...
