This is the 2nd review I’ve written because hotel management deleted the 1st one.
I’d give zero stars if possible. Most disgusting hotel I’ve been to. Most unprofessional staff who just wants to rob and take advantage of its customers. I checked in this morning at 3am and upon entering my room, I noticed bed bugs. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a refund. I was offered a refund or an upgrade to a suite. I declined the room upgrade because that’s just disgusting. The employee (Bart) then denied giving me a refund and being extremely rude and disrespectful. He was not cooperating when all I wanted was my money back which I paid in cash. He stated a manager would have to refund me once they arrive to work between 7-8am. I was okay with waiting, but Bart was being unprofessional. At that point my only option was to call the police department. Two officers came out and told me this wasn’t the first time they get calls regarding this place. They told me they couldn’t interfere and to just wait to speak to a manager. Being that i don’t live nearby, I literally waited in my car until 7am. Another employee arrived for that shift and I explained the situation to him. Once again he was no help at all. He was rude and sassy. Also seemed like he was high off a substance. He claimed I couldn’t get a refund because there were no bugs. Mind you, I took photos of the bugs and showed him. All he had to say was “yes that’s a bug.” I’ve left the manager about 5 voicemails and 2 emails and have yet to receive any response. Please avoid this hotel and...
Read moreAmerica’s Best was recommended by the USC hospital for a lengthy stay while my wife was having surgery. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Frank and Anita at the desk helped me to extend my stay when I had to stay in LA longer than anticipated. He told me about a special rate they have for people staying at the hospital which saved us a lot of money on our trip.||You can tell that they take pride in their property. The hotel appears to be recently renovated, with some work still on going, but the main areas are finished. The rooms are very comfortable, and very clean. Ours had a mini-fridge in it. You always see the housekeeping staff working away, and you can see the results! The place is very clean.||There is an elevator for those getting an upper floor that do not want to use the stairs. There is a luggage cart you can check out from the front desk to carry all your luggage in one trip also. Handicapped parking is also available.||Laundry facilities are available on the third floor. There is a pool with soon to be workout area also. I haven’t seen these areas yet, but don’t doubt that they will disappoint.||Every morning a continental breakfast is available on the second floor, consisting of eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, rolls, pastries, bagels , toast, yogurt, coffee, juice, and milk. I’m sure I forgot something.||We need to return at least three times, and we will be calling directly to Frank to reserve our room. I would recommend you call the hotel directly first, before booking online to see if they can give you a...
Read moreUpon arrival there was already police presence in the area when I went to go check and the manager told me to come back in 10 to 15 minutes even though he was there. When I did go back he gave me a hard time about my parking pass and was very rude. When I got to my room there were several holes in the wall and the room was on Kent. I knew that I did not want to stay two nights in this hotel so I attempted to contact Expedia knowing the property manager would be unwilling to give me a refund for the second night, and upon speaking to the Expedia travel agent, he also made her wait 10 to 15 minutes to call back, hotel seemed very understaffed. When she did call back she was told she was met with resistance as far as giving me a partial refund for trying to cancel the second night so I was stuck there for two nights. At about three in the morning there was a loud argument between two men one threatening death to the other. I was extremely scared and decided not to spend the second night. When I woke up the parking lot was full and they were cars blocking other cars due to their inorganization and poor management. I also failed to mention that when I asked the cleaning ladies where the pool was they didn’t even look my direction and told me to go to the front desk just overall horrible experience rude staff and poor management. I do not recommend. I believe the manager or whom ever he was could’ve been more accommodating and not force people to stay in his hotel when he had plenty and ample time to have the...
