Le Blanc Inn & Suites — Hotel in El Monte

Lovely facility! The people working here know how to show hospitality--and that includes everyone: from the gentlemen at the front desk to the ladies managing all the housekeeping--we did not lack anything we needed our three day stay. Also, the room was absolutely gorgeous--sorry I didn't take more/better photos--and furnished exactly right for us. (I believe it was the "double" option.) It had two beds, a dresser with drawers and open shelves, a desk with office chair, a mini fridge (and thankfully, because we had delicious left overs from Sweet Veggie--an awesome restaurant a few minutes away, on Valley View--nothing was pre-stocked in it.) The beds were soft and the blankets warm. The bathroom was an absolute delight: lots of clean fluffy towels and amazing built-in soap dispensers--thankfully, because it was a last minute/unplanned trip I wasn't prepared for--pre-stocked with hand soap and lotion at the sink. My favorite part was, undoubtedly, the glass and tile shower stall: the adjustable-stream shower head was attached magnetically and removable! The Tea Tree & Lemon (?) dispensers on the wall inside had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Guest services included a well-endowed literature rack in the cozy lobby. The ice and vending machines were in good working order. And "Oh what a luxury!" I simply loved having two microwaves available there for guests to use. There was never a line to use them there during my stay; it's just one of those things so often an inconvenience in other motels lacking private a microwave. UPDATE: After a week or having my calls ignored, Sean (manager) answered after seeing I posted a bad review, it was actually the first thing he mentioned. He told me I couldn’t get a refund but I could have credit for another room if I took my review down. SHAAAADY! Makes you wonder who else he did this to. I was reluctant but he basically told me to take it or leave it. I told him I wanted to see the room before I took down my review and made a reservation for that Saturday so I could get it over with and be done with them. They called me around two that day to say if I didn’t show up by 6 they would give it someone else. They showed me three rooms, one had a cockroach leg in the fridge, one had weed on the floor, and one had a hair in the fridge as well and crumbs and wrappers on the floor. The employee was trying to stop me from taking photos but I persisted and then he called the manager. I told them I would take the cleanest of the rooms as long as they cleaned the fridge and swept. They told me I could not stay there that night even after changing my plans to accommodate them. He told me I had to talk to the manager and when I did and asked why I was denied he told me I was no longer allowed to stay there and he was done dealing with me. This place was disgusting the ground was sticky and dirtier than the street the street the beds had hair on them and they looked like they hadn't been changed the desks the desks are filled with dust and everything is sticky in the room the shower head didn't work The phone line in the room doesn't work There is no breakfast There is screaming and cars loud outside 4:00 in the morning and people drinking everywhere The bed feels like cardboard The AC gives put smoke out and smokes the whole room and white smoke The TV is crooked it doesn't have YouTube A shower doesn't have a door The bathroom is bigger than the room The sink handles are rusting I recommend you do not come here The streets is clean...
