This place is a total rip off. Me and my wife had a reservation to stay here on our way from Florida to Yosemite. After driving for 10 hours on our 2nd day of traveling we showed up at this sketchy place. There wasn't any cars at the place. This was July 31 around 10ish. The lobby door was open. We went inside and there wasn't anyone there. We announced ourselves a couple of times. Then we called 2 times. 20 minutes later a man came out of the back. We ran our credit card, checked ID and gave us room key for room 138. Room 138 was practically all the way towards the back of the establishment. Like I said earlier, there was nobody else staying here. When we open the door, it had a smell of an old bookstore. The bed wasn't made and was filthy dirty. I posted a picture as it appeared when we walked in. We took a few pictures and went back to the office. The person who took our information wasn't there. Again we tried to get him to help us. After 15-20 minutes we went across the street and contacted Hotels.com. They tried to resolve the problem but they didn't answer their call. The next day we was notified by hotel.com that this establishment has a no refund policy and they couldn't refund us our money.

From the moment we checked in, our experience was unacceptable. The room we were assigned had a soaked carpet that emitted a foul, musty odor, making it extremely unpleasant and unsanitary. On top of that, the room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite being advertised as non-smoking. We were initially told we could switch rooms, but that offer was abruptly retracted with the claim that no other rooms were available. This back-and-forth was both confusing and frustrating. Additionally, the customer service was appalling. The staff was incredibly rude on the phone, and when we returned to our room later, our key card stopped working, causing further inconvenience. To make matters worse, our room was incorrectly booked from the start, which only added to the chaos and frustration of our visit. This kind of treatment and lack of basic hospitality is completely unacceptable, especially from an established brand like Sleep Inn. I hope this message reaches someone who takes pride in guest satisfaction, as this location is clearly falling short.

Before you blow a 100$ dollars read!!! This hotel was absolutely filthy! I took multiple photos and videos of the premises and it was completely unacceptable for how much they charge. There were doors to the stairs that were what I can only guess were kicked in, the the arm that connects to the door was hanging about head high to my wife 5"3" tall the screws were on the ground there was what appeared to be dog or ? Feces in the stairwell. They had the back door propped open all night giving access to whoever wanted to enter. The room was not clean at all the chair was too dirty to sit in looked as if a mechanic had sat there every day after work. The breakfast was very subpar and the biscuits tasted freezer burnt, there was no milk for the cereal and the potatoes were dehydrated. This hotel is an apartment complex for gas and oil workers and everything in the building reflects that. So if you are looking for a nice family friendly place to stay I would highly recommend picking a different hotel.

On June 30th I made an online reservation as we were traveling back to Tulsa Ok from Colorado and didn't want to travel on to home. We used the address that was on the website and it put us as a truck stop in Sayre, OK. I called the # on the website and no answer it was not a good #. There was no way to get a hold of this hotel or find it since the address was not correct. We ended up sleeping in our car at the truck stop. The next day on the way home I called Choice Hotels and Joel asking for a refund, he said I would have to speak to the hotel, I explained how can I do that if the # doesn't work so he too called the # and stated it was not working. He said he would contact the hotel via email and to call back if I did not hear from them in 24 hrs. On 7-3-23 I called Choice Hotels again, told her the whole story and she kept offering me points I didn't want points I want my money refunded. Just to see I called the # on the website of Sleep Inn and a lady answered she transferred me to the general manager. He was the most rude person, wouldn't let me say a word, kept interrupting me, kept raising his voice saying he knew who I was, he was not going to listen to my story and I was not getting my money back or he would get points against him. I could care less if he gets points against him I just wanted a refund. This went back and forth and then HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! It started ringing again and the lady at the front desk picked up and said he was the owner of the hotel. I then called Choice back again and all they wanted to do was give me points, I informed her I don't need points as I will not being staying in a Choice Hotel again. This is a Choice Hotel but did nothing to back their customer up, only kept saying they had no control of the money I would have to deal with the hotel as I then informed her as to how rude he was and hung up on my. So Beware of this place and Choice Hotels they don't take care of...

I wish there was a 0 star option. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel!!! I booked through booking.com for a price of $54 for a room with 2 beds. I also brought an entire baseball team with me which was quite a bit of business. When I got to my room there was just one bed. I went back down and showed my email where it was confirmed that I had indeed booked a room with 2 beds, they said they were out of rooms. My son had to sleep on the floor before playing a full day of baseball the next day. Then I was charged multiple charges for random amounts on my credit card. One for $62.34, one for around $57 and one for a penny. I called the hotel and dealt with a very uncooperative manager who denied any responsibility. Then the $57 and on cent charge were removed and I was charged with a second amount of $62.34. I called my credit card company to dispute it figuring I was double charged in error. My credit card company removed the charge while in dispute. Today, I was recharged the amount of the additional $62.34 because the hotel manager told the credit card company that it billed me in 2 transactions for the total amount of $124.68 for one night's stay. I told them that is a complete lie and I can send documentation to prove it. I am waiting on hold as the hotel manager has now had me on hold for 20 minutes. He just told me that I stayed 2 nights. I said no I did not. He said well then you did not check out before check out time. I said yes we did. So he told me to call the police and call the better business bureau because he doesn't care. He will not refund my money. The credit card company decided not to because he lied to them and now I must start a re-dispute process. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THIS MANAGER WHO RUNS A CROOKED BUSINESS AND WILL STEAL...

This hotel has unmowed grass that is covered in stickers. My service dog had them embedded in his paws and hair. I had to remove embedded stickers from my wheelchair tires so my hands wouldn’t be hurt. I had hair on the shower floor. Dead bugs in my room. Dead bugs all over the interior of the hotel. A stain on the bed spread. The ice machine might kill someone with the amount of bacteria that has to be in it. The ice machine smells. I am completely shocked it doesn’t have an out of order sign on it. The side entry doors have signs saying to not use them. I am pretty sure that the fire sprinkler in my room is covered with something. On Monday of the same week I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Elk City. They did NOT have the bug problem that this hotel has. The room smelled like someone had smoked weed in it. I had an accessible room with a roll in shower. The entire. bathroom floor was covered with water because there is no "lip" to keep the water in. None of the water moved towards the drain. Upon arrival, one of the employees watched me struggle to carry three bags in while wheeling my wheelchair through the automatic doors. Not once did she ask if I needed any help. The plugs on the lights do not fit any plug, at least in room 100. Just a horrible experience. I let the woman know all these problems when I checked out. I also told her that there would be an upcoming dog show in Elk City and I would be alerting fellow dog show people of my experience at this hotel, especially the goat head stickers that got embedded in my service dog's paws. I had a much better experience at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Jacksonville, IL, where I had stayed two nights before traveling back...
