Just Don't! There's much better cheap places to stay right next door! Motel 6 and Elkton Lodge are right there, same price range with much better service, and rooms! Ok first let me explain why there's mixed reviews here... They have a select few rooms that they actually keep clean-ish for out of state guests, and anybody from the state gets one of the normal rooms. New management has taken over and they are great at making the outside of this motel look better so people think they are actually fixing the place up, wrong! The new owners are very ignorant and have absolutely no concern for anybody's health, safety or well being. I was stuck in a position where I had to stay here for an extended period of time, and it wasn't bad at first when the old owners ran the place. But not long after they turned it over to new owners, and these people are the true definition of a Slum Lord! My wife agreed to work for them to make some extra cash while we stayed there, to find out they don't even pay close to the minimum wage for Maryland... $5 per room and your lucky to get 7 rooms a day, and because of the way they make you do them it takes 3 times as long to do them. So for working 8 to 10 hours my wife was lucky to make $30-$40 a day. So she went to work at the Holiday Inn making 3 to 4 times as much, but because she left there to keep from being screwed, they raised our rent $42 and tried to say it was for tax! They also assume anybody staying there are junkies and bums, they think it's hilarious if someone dies there, I actually overheard them laughing about a guy that died in his room from diabetes and saying he was just another junkie! Dirty rooms, rude and disrespectful owners, old outdated everything, mice and roaches, just bad all around. Save yourself the headache and go across the road to the Motel 6 or...

Omg, my husband and I checked in here after driving for 7 and a half hours and 10 minutes after booking the room, we realized all the nefarious activities that were taking place amongst the entire property approximately 20 people, along with approximately another 10 highly intoxicated individuals making a scene outside. We reside in West Palm Beach, FL and see some very serious crime and dangerous areas but, this place gives it a run for it's money! Within 20 minutes we asked for a refund as we did not bring anything into the room nor touch anything in the room accept noticing the toilet was badly, badly clogged with fecal matter all over the seat and urine everywhere. We were declined a refund only offered a room change.The owner cussed out me and my husband out for expressing our concerns and desires for a refund. If you are considering staying here, I would advise traveling a little further down the street to one of the many other hotels, unless of course you are looking to get a fix from the dope man! We even overheard the owner fighting with a man staying there to pay for a new key for the door because he left his key inside and locked himself out. He simply ask the owner to open the door so that he can get his key, as his key was absolutely fine but, the owner insisted that he pay for a new card before he would open the door for him! A bombshell for you he was intoxicated too... I have no ill intentions on harming any business's reputation as I am a small business owner myself however, I hope that this review helps you in deciding where you will be residing for the evening should you be renting a hotel in the area. I'm currently listening to I'm guessing a rat eating through the wall I have a mouse that keeps coming in under the heater/AC that I keep trying to block the hole but he keeps getting back in. He's left holes in some of my clothes and food . My room has no fridge I've been here a month now and they won't move one into my room or me into a room with one which I know other rooms do have one. I got a room with no remote so I can't change the channel and I can't download a remote I've tried. I've asked for towels many times got them only in. The begining gave them to be washed never got them back. The toilet stays clogged you have to plunge every time you flush. No bugs though thank God. I'm really about to snap this dang mouse won't go the f away I'm constantly stomping it away from my stuff! Though it is the cheapest room around I believe so there's that. No drama quiet besides the toilet constantly cutting on for 5 seconds. If your broke and need a room I guess it does the job and gets you out of the elements with electric and wifi the heat and AC work so that's nice ..and the beds were clean and...
