Our family has never ever been this disappointed in a Taco Bell before. and trust me we’ve been disappointed plenty. but this must be the one to go down in history.
First we ordered 9 items
3 Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes 3 Chalupa Supremes no meat;beef subbed with Refried Beans 3 veg Mexican pizzas
pretty simple right?
NOPE. not for them.
the first time they screwed up, they put black beans in the chalupas. no big deal we sent them back because it must’ve been a communication error. the second time we got them they were actually pretty decent.
cheesy fiesta potatoes. they were decent as well but considering they had no kiosk which held the utensils and sauces, we had no sporks. when we asked several times, they rudely ignored us, and they were cold by the time we got them. I don’t know how they expected us to eat those with our hands.
Now finally the Mexican pizzas. My brother ordered 3. the first time he received them, the employee almost shoved them all in a bag roughly, not caring if they got smushed or not. when my brother opened the box, the sight was simply laughable. it was as if they made the pizzas with their eyes closed. the tomatoes were stowed away in a corner and the cheese and sauce were thrown messily about (look at picture tagged). he went to the counter with the pizzas and said, “I didn’t pay 15 bucks for them to look like this.” they took em back and redid them. when they came again, they looked okay from the top but when he took a closer look and a sniff, he realized they had BEANS AND BEEF IN THEM (umm, excuse you, WE’RE VEGETARIAN 🤨). when he inquired about this to Lanaya (who really needs to take out their AirPod so they can MAYBE HEAR THE ORDERS BETTER AND NOT MESS EM UP), saying that he was Vegetarian and it was odd how there was beans and beef in the pizza base. they took em back, and i overheard someone from the back say that they didn’t know which one it was. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT KNOW?! JUST LOOK AT THE SCREEN YOU GOOF. and finally, third time must’ve been the charm, cause they were perfect this time. by the time he got them, we were all done our dinner, and we had to get back on the road, so cheers to not spending family time at a sit down fast food dinner.
LISTEN HERE, TACO BELL, you need some new staff and management at this location. and if you do hire new people, make sure they actually know how to serve food, before you release em to the real...
Read moreI do believe I have found one of the worst fast food restaurants in the area. This Taco Bell/ KFC is located just off of I-95 in Elkton, MD just at the MD/Del line. We were visiting locally and wanted to grab some food before we jumped on 95. We started at the drive-thru and were second in line. After a 12 minute wait we finally got our chance. We ordered and the friendly young lady at the window handed the drinks out first. Soda, they were both totally flat with zero fizz. After I brought it to her attention, I was told a refund was not possible but we could have water or lemonade. We chose lemonade and it looked and tasted like dirty water. We finally received our food and pulled into a parking spot to eat. We unwrapped the first item and it wasn't anything we ordered. So, into the restaurant I went. I explained the situation to another friendly young lady at the counter. She took the item and went into the kitchen, came out and didn't say anything. After waiting a few minutes I enquired as to the status of my food and she said, "I don't know". OK. Eventually we got everything we paid for except for the drinks (we had to just let that slide). Total time of what was supposed to be a quick drive-thru stop? About 25 minutes. To go with everything else the place was dirty. Melted ice and soda spills were all over the drink area. Tables were dirty with trays and trash piling up. At least I wasn't alone. There were about 6-8 people standing around waiting for food. One customer complained she had been waiting for a half hour. So, anyway, a very poorly run place. If you're in the area looking for fast food, it's worth driving a bit further for it. There are two very nice Taco Bells on Rt 40, one in Del and one in MD. This, one, on Belle Hill Rd. in Elkton, MD needs some...
Read moreI’ve been frequenting this Taco Bell location because it’s close to my house and convenient, especially when I’m out late and they’re near closing. However, my recent experiences have started to turn me off.
One particular visit stood out. I went inside with my family for a quick bite. It was my first time dining in, and I ordered some chicken tacos for my fiancé and our son. Our son only eats tortillas with chicken (no cheese, sauce, lettuce, beans, or rice), which is how he prefers it. When we received the food, his tacos were fully loaded with sour cream, beans, rice, cheese, and all the toppings we specifically asked to avoid. We politely pointed this out to the staff, and they acknowledged the mistake.
However, things got frustrating when we waited nearly 10 minutes for the corrected order, despite there being no line or rush. When I inquired about the delay, it was clear there were issues in the kitchen. The staff member who made the replacement seemed annoyed and loud, even saying she “didn’t want to do it again,” which was unprofessional. It appeared to be a matter of miscommunication or poor service, and honestly, the wait time was excessive considering the circumstances.
I understand that late in the night, they might run out of certain items and want to avoid waste, but refusing to remake food properly or reading the display screen should not be an issue. Typically, service here is slow, and I’ve noticed that staff tend to get distracted or play around inside, which affects efficiency, especially in the drive-thru.
I might give this location one more shot, but if the service quality doesn’t improve, I’ll be looking for a different place. It’s disappointing because it used to be a reliable spot, but recent experiences have made me...
