I'm generally pretty forgiving and uncritical of fast food restaurants, but my recent experience here was a farce. When we arrived, there was no line, and we walked straight to the register. We waited there for ~25 minutes, without ever being acknowledged, or even being told that they'll be right with us in 20 minutes, just ignored, even after we told them we were ready to order, as the person taking orders was apparently the only one fulfilling them, as no fewer than 9 other employees did who the heck knows what.
Then I would have had a kind word for her, but when she gets my order wrong, and I politely explain this to her, she then argues with me! Like, what the heck? First, it was my order, I am the ultimate authority on what I ordered, it was premeditated, planned, and executed just the way I had envisioned it (minus the 25 minute wait). Secondly, even if I had screwed up my own order, you don't argue with the customer! It then took about another 20 minutes to get the food and wait for the manager to correct my order.
After the 45 minute ordeal, 2 employees we had seen chilling at a table when we arrived were still there, doing absolutely nothing.
As much as I keep telling myself that they'll be hurt in the long run by bad service, I'm yet unconvinced, because their business model doesn't rely on repeat business as they are right off the highway. Hopefully the owner sees some more reviews like this and gets some...
Read moreCame here because an elderly sick family member requested KFC, the staff was doing the best they could with what they had but they seemed well overworked and understaffed and I felt extremely bad for them. I went inside and I probably had around 20 minute wait there were multiple other people in there that have already ordered and waiting for their food to be cooked. The kitchen seem to be extremely cluttered with multiple products piled up on the floor preventing 1/3 of the kitchen to be used the trash cans were overflowing in the dining area and spewing trash all over the floor but being that they were understaffed I can understand that there was no one able to handle that. If The owner or manager is reading this I wouldn't highly recommend you hire more people, not quite sure what they're making but the Amazon down the street is starting people off at 17-20 an hour with some of the best benefits in the workforce. Just something to think about. When you pay people more and treat them better you get a better quality product thus more customers and more money. Most locals don't come here just the truck drivers from the truck stop across the street and travelers...
Read moreUpon entering this KFC location, I was greeted by a genuinely cheerful cashier, which initially set a positive tone for my visit. However, my excitement dwindled as I noticed the restaurant's cleanliness was far from satisfactory. The unkempt state of the dining area left much to be desired, making it an uncomfortable environment to consider dining in.
The disappointment grew when it became apparent that the restroom, a basic necessity for any dine-in experience, was out of order. This unforeseen inconvenience made it impossible to fully utilize the facilities, leaving me pondering whether it was worth considering a purchase, let alone dining there.
While the warm welcome from the cashier was appreciated, the lack of cleanliness and the inaccessibility of basic amenities like a functional restroom significantly detracted from the overall experience. A focus on maintaining a clean and functional environment would greatly enhance this location's appeal and encourage patrons to enjoy what KFC has to offer...
