I checked in 1-10-20. I experienced unclean room and terrible customer service. By far the worst customer service I experienced through my entire life. This travel was couple trip for our family business. We simply needed a hotel outside the LV hotel strip that can give us a peace for a good night sleep, the one with no resort fee. Location: okay for purpose of our trip. Parking: was okay when we arrived. Early checkin: has early checkin fee of $30. Cleaness: was a big problem. Don't expect ironed clean looking bed spread and sheets. It was all wrinkly. According to my observation of seeing two different rooms with identically same wrinkly sheets, they are cleaned but those are just not ironed. I hope. Staff: attitude of a manager who did our checkin was a serious problem. S.E.R.I.O.U.S Breakfast bar: don't know the quality since we didn't try it. Upon checking-in I did some unpacking then went to the bathroom downstairs. When I came back from the bathroom, my husband showed me something he found while I was gone. Upon lifting the toilette seat I saw mounds of short cut hair. We both disgusted and lost words. I told him we need to take a picture of it and call hotel staff to come over to look, but my husband said don't since it is too disgusting to have such picture in my phone. He wants to pack everything up and just go down stairs to ask the manager to switch our room to clean one. Immediately we went downstairs and politely asked for a new room and said the bathroom was "unclean" (we kept it short for their customers at the lobby). The manager said immediately "No" since we would been in the room 30 minutes and there was nothing he could do. We then detailed the issue with the hair at which point he said "you booked a cheap room, that's what you get". I couldn't believe my ears. Upon letting him know I was going to write a complaint he said "go ahead because I know the cleaning lady and she would never leave the room so obviously dirty". He said we were lying and we made it all up since he said no to us about our request to switch to other room. I let him know we have nothing to gain from lying we just want a clean room and a fair nights rest. He eventually decided to go up and see our room (not to give us a chance to get clean room, to find a proof that we were lying). He came back and said, "I saw you took a shower (he said my husband took a shower, but he just ran the water for warm water) and you shaved your hair. You made that mess." Our jaws literally dropped. I even hold my husband's head up toward the manager and said, "color of the hair on the toilette was black and this is light brown", but he was keep saying we were lying, the cleaning lady never make a mistake. Finally as we decided to go back to the room and take a picture he changed his tune and gave us another room; might I add was also dirty with disgusting sticky gunk on the entrance table with smaller bed than the room we originally booked. I have stayed at expensive hotels and cheap ones alike, I might be able to accept a cleaning error (everyone makes mistakes) but blatant disrespect and claiming a customer is committing fraud is a line that has never been crossed. We were scared of the managers' attitude that night and didn't want to get overcharged by things we never did to the room. We didn't even use the shower and we didn't touch the emenities in the room. We slept on the bed while not using their blanket/bed sheet and it was so cold but we couldn't use the heater since it was so loud. We literally had no sleep then left the room as soon as we gave up to sleep a bit. Same manager was at the front desk with no guest around and he saw us leaving, but he didn't say a thing.

To make a long story short, the front desk, staff is friendly, but the hotel itself is pretty old. I stayed a week And the first night I got in pretty late around midnight. I was checking in told I needed to do a deposit for each of my rooms. I had two rooms for some reason, I needed to do $150 for each room so that’s $300. OK whatever. As I said, I got there late, so I go to my room. I don’t really check things I go to bed cause I have to be up really early the following day I get up eat breakfast and leave the hotel come back kinda late and I noticed for the first time The rooms are pretty gross. The hotel is extremely dated. It needs some updates and breakfast area needs to be expanded upon a bit its pretty small. As far as the rooms go, carpets has stains in them. The drawers had stains in them. The sheet had a stain in it. Bathroom had hair on the floor. The shower curtain and rod were rusted. The faucet to the bath was rusted the lights were extremely dim the faucet dripped, dust everywhere. One of the rooms was missing a phone, and the AC made a lot of noise like it had some sort of congestion. So I documented everything go to the front desk and ask if I could talk to the manager about my rooms I was told manager would be in around 8 am the next morning, so I say OK I’ll wait until then. The following morning I talked to someone at the front desk. She was extremely nice. She saw the pictures and stuff that I had taken, and I told her at this point all my stuff was in both of the rooms already. I really didn’t wanna move. I would just be okay with a discount and she assured me the message would get passed on to the manager and more than likely, something would be taken off of my bill. Fast forward to the end of my stay I check out. I asked the front desk was my bill adjusted at all and the person at the desk looks at me confused and asked me what I’m talking about so I sure the pictures that I tell her about my prior conversation, she doesn’t know what I’m talking about and basically says well if you had such a problem with the room, why didn’t you say anything beforehand I did and I was pretty sure the issue was resolved so why would I keep bringing it up if the issue was resolved? I expected something to be knocked off my vehicle when I checked out nothing had been changed. So it’s just disingenuous on their part. But again, I’m blaming management more than I am the front desk because ultimately management still makes that decision. Furthermore, the deposits never showed up on my receipt as refunded.

Worst hotel I've stayed at in Vegas, and that's saying something. I travel to Vegas frequently, never have I experienced what this Baymont Inn put me through. Here's a summary: I arrive ~3:15 PM, right after check in is allowed. They have a Single lady manning the entire lobby. She seemed nice enough but woefully understaffed. Phone ringing off the hook and being ignored. I was waiting at the desk for a good 20+ minutes before the clerk even started to process my reservation. Their computers kept freezing up and crashing, Then they said my corporate card was declined. That's not possible. Had them re-try a good 10+ times probably, every time Declined yet my credit card transaction log shows Zero attemps to even run the card. I contacted the bank which confirmed Yes the card is fine, I had the banks techs and escalation team speak Directly with the staff telling them that the card is Fine, no blocks and processes dummy payments of the same amount just fine, and that it was their credit card terminals that were broken or misconfigured. The staff refused to accept the bank saying the card is fine, and instead insisted it was somehow Me that was the issue, saying that I was the Only one having issues (remember this because it's relevant later). The bank Again told them that the Card is Fine and their terminal is broken, but they weren't having it and kicked me out of my room around 9 PM. Went to another Wyndham a few miles away and that same card ran just fine as expected (and where I'm currently writing this review from). The kicker? The clerk at this new Wyndham said he'd been getting people in All Night telling the same story that I was. So, long story short, my cards Were/are in-fact fine, their systems are shot, and they lied to my face, they'll try to humiliate and blame you to pass the buck on their own crappy/broken infrastructure. So that experience alone was more than enough to never stay here again, but the room itself was friggin Gross. Water damage on the walls, stained carpet, the fridge had a loud rattle to the point I unplugged it, bathroom vent didn't turn on, the TV was dinky and mounted Very crooked. Just a shoddy 2-bit operation they got going there, go to literally Any other hotel than this heap.

I read a lot of reviews about this hotel, so after staying here over the weekend. I decided to write one as well. I am not trying to taking away from everyone elses review this is just my experience both the good and the bad. I read a lot of people say their room wasn't clean. (The Good) My room was clean that wasn't a problem. Decent size room, small coffee maker, small microwave, a mini fridge, there are a lot of channels to choose from on the tv which is nice, a queen size bed with clean sheets, and the bathroom was clean as well. The continental breakfast was good. (Beware the breakfast area is very small, and gets over crowded quickly. Also not enough tables for people to sit down and eat, and you have to be patient there is only one waffle maker.) They have a good variety of food to choose from hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, juice, mini muffins, bagels, bread, cereal, cut up sausage patties sauteed in peppers (they were surprising good), waffles, and oatmeal. Overall the selection was fair. Not bad for being free. The gym and laundry room are accessible 24 hours. Which is nice because other places I've stayed at the gym closes at a certain time. (Beware the gym is very small only 3 machines.) Also if you have to wash do it before or after breakfast (not during). The hallway to the laundry room is on the 1st floor, and you have to walk past the breakfast area to access it. Like I said the breakfast area is very small, so just imagine carrying your laundry back and forward between that mess. Parking is free but in the evening at least on weekends the lot fills up quickly. The location of the hotel is good. I've read some people say the hotel is far from the strip. Don't listen to them you are on the strip. The south end to be exact the beginning of the strip. The hotel is close to the South Premium Outlet Mall, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, the airport and airport car rental pick up and drop off, Bootlegger Italian Bistro (very famous spot in Las Vegas), Town Square, and a bunch of food places. They have a free shuttle which takes you to Mandalay Bay and the airport. I did hear a lot of people complaining about the shuttle being slow, so fair warning if you're trying to make your flight and using the shuttle you may want to leave a few hours in advance. (The Bad) Depending on who you talk to the staff can be stand off ish which isn't a good look. A few staff members were friendly, but others were not. They are very understaffed when it comes to housekeeping. On Saturday housekeeping did not knock on my door. After 3pm I had to walk up to a housekeeper and ask for more towels, and I personally had to dump my trash. Also on my floor housekeeping left two huge trash bags in the hallway overnight. That's not a good look if you ask me. The elevator could have used a good vacuuming. When checking in ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. If not you will hear all the activity happening on the 1st floor breakfast in the morning, people walking back and forward, and if you're next to the laundry room you'll hear the washer and dryer continuously. If you're a heavier sleeper than the 1st floor may not bother you. If you're a light sleeper the 1st floor will be a problem. Also the walls are thin at this hotel. The first night I heard my neighbor for majority of the night. The second night wasn't bad though. Beware they did charge my card 3 times. When I saw that I addressed the situation immediately and got it corrected. Just be sure to check your account. Overall my stay here wasn't bad, fair to be exact. For the price not bad. I didn't use the pool so I can't share an opinion about it. It is right next to the gym though and it looks just fine. If you're on budget or don't want to pay outrageous resort fees stay here. It is not as terrible as most reviews I've read. The fact that they don't have a resort fee is nice. The hotel could do better in a few areas which would make for better reviews, but overall there are some perks. I'll put it like this I've stayed at way...
