We stayed at a local hotel, however I am a Mobile RV Repair Tech from Tulsa and 20+ years in the business. With that in mind I was VERY IMPRESSED with their layout and amenities. I will be camping there in the future with my rig.||||But their Amphitheater for the concert was outstanding. Excellent staff, super cheerful, ready to help in any way and professional.||||Being open air (and the grounds new) with Oklahoma rain we did have a bit of mud to contend with but nothing that made the concert or its functionality bad.||||The beer was limited to a few brands but the service quick, professional and they even supplied ice bags with enough ice to keep them cold and be used for empties. The porta potties was color coded LOL something new, but clean and well stocked.||||They city and establishment had 2 shuttles for picking up and dropping off concert goers FREE with clean mini buses and super friendly drivers. (Needless to say we did not need a designated driver so we ALL had fun)||||The Xtreme RV Resort also rents golf carts by the day and they are allowed on all Eufaula city street with a licensed driver.||||The local police was present, keeping things comfortable but in no way pushy or abusive. ||||All in all this was a excellent experience, concert and amenities. If I had to pick one thing that was not convenient was the walk to the concert area from the main ticket gate. Being we had had heavy rain the mud and trek was a bit long (not really bad) but a walkway should be planned for the future to get to the concert area (especially for those who use a wagon to move chairs and such). ||||I also suggest this because anyone using a wheel chair, walker, cane or scooter would not be able to attend easily.||||I would like to reiterate that the STAFF was exceptional. Entrance through ticketing was fast, friendly and professional. Alcohol purchase banding was quick and efficient as was the window services.||||The staff by far made this even welcoming, informative and...
Read moreExtreme Rv Resort has two beautiful pools (one outdoors, one in an enclosure), a large playground, exercise room, dog run, and a few other amenities with close accessibility such as the lake. Maybe it is an awesome place and we just stayed too early in their season (mid April), because there were a few issues with our stay. Here are a few of the following: One morning, our lights and electric went out. We went frantic trying to figure out why we lost power. We look outside and the landscaper UNPLUGGED our RV to mow. We couldn't believe it. Didn't say anything. Just unplugged it! Extreme RV is in the middle of a neighborhood separated by a chain link fence. As i was walking my dog one night, two dogs from the adjacent neighborhood started barking and ran to the fence, went underneath it, and then started to chase my dog and I within the RV park!!!! To say I was scared is an understatement. the pools (both inside and out) don't appear to be too clean. Apparently, the outdoor pool was shocked while we were there, and no sign was put up to say "no swimming" etc. My kids constantly got sore throats whenever they went swimming in those pools. Folks who are not staying at Extreme RV sneak in and use the pool often. Numerous times during our stay, there were teenagers at night sneaking into the enclosed pool. My boys and I would always be picking up trash on the pool deck that we found left by people who apparently didn't care. The following is not Extreme RV's fault, but the constant sound of the freight train (especially in the middle of the night) started to get to us. It's loud! there really is no security per say, for the rv park. Anyone can come in and out as they please. the dog trashes looked like they hadn't been emptied for ages. There were also no bags available at the stations. People tended to throw their rv trash into the cans instead of going down to the dumpsters
Not our favorite place we have stayed out. The view of the...
Read moreXtreme RV Park in Eufaula, OK is "in process" of becoming a, if not THE BEST, 1st class park in southeast Oklahoma. While the RV spaces are complete and so are the indoor and outdoor pools, General Store, liquor store, meeting space and registration area, soon to offer a great bar. The other areas of the park are still under construction. It is basically right on the water, there are marinas and places to grab a bite very close by. This park is pricey. So a family vacation or if money isn't a problem, you will love it here. It isn't camping, it is very much "glamping."
The roads in the park a very good, but maybe a bit tight if your rig is over 35'. Pull thru's and back-in's The spaces have concrete pads as you would expect. I found however that our pad wasn't level, which surprised me. Since that pad had us facing west. The evening sun was really hot so we asked if we could move. Management was very accommodating. The new site was also not level. I began to notice them many other rigs also have leveling issues. One of the reasons for 4 stars, not 5. No trees yet. A lot of planning and money went into building this park, but leveling wasn't one of them. I can understand the need to slope for drainage. But each pad could have had more attention given it so it would be level.
Given all the ongoing construction, the park is "xtremely" well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi is fairly solid throughout the park.
While I prefer an environment where Mother Nature surrounds you, I would came back, and will, just to see the completed product. If you are headed Eufaula way, the park is only a few minutes off Hwy 69. Xtreme RV Park is a pretty...
