I wish I could give zero stars. My review is LONG overdue as the last time I took my baby there was December. This place should get a dog groomer that actually knows what she is doing, not just an idiot with shears or clippers. She either doesn’t do anything other than bathe them OR she just shaves them. She has zero dog grooming skills. My mom took her poodle there for years simply because she couldn’t find anywhere else and was always disappointed with how he looked. I took my Sheepadoodle to her a couple times. She did absolutely nothing to him other than bathe him the first time. The second time, I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted for him. She felt of him and saw there was no matting and said that cut could be done. I also asked her to call me in the off chance that she needs to shave him some and she agreed to do so. I picked mine and my sister’s dogs up. Mind you, my sister also has a sheepadoodle. They were both completely shaved down to their literal pink skin. They went in fluffy and came out looking absolutely pitiful and still charged $90 each. Not to mention did not care to call and tell me she was going to shave my dog as she agreed at drop off she would do so if that were the case. So, thanks for lying!This last time was in the winter and my dog was shaking because of how cold he was. I had to go buy him a sweater just to make him look a quarter percent decent. This place or more like the groomer is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. She shouldn’t be allowed to have clippers near a dog. She should’ve just stuck to doing nothing other than bathing the dog and charging a full groom much like a con artist. At least then my dog’s pink skin with sores was not showing. I had to put Neosporin on his wounds she inflicted upon my dog. Absolutely terrible. If you want an actual groomer who knows how to groom a dog, please go to Uptown Mutts in Muskogee. The groomer there, Cassidy, is amazing!! She, unlike Lake Dogs, is very competent and excels at her career as a groomer. I have been referring several people here and Lake Dogs has last my 5 dogs including my mom’s dogs, my dog and my sister’s dogs. Maybe one day they will get an actual groomer. I believe the “groomer” at Lake Dogs was just picked off the streets with ZERO training. She is highly incompetent. I will be posting my terrible Lake Dog experience through a lot of sources as they are a cheat and should not be allowed to groom dogs. I will be deflecting people from using them as much...

Started off great with communication and responsiveness. We got an appointment set up, and they called to confirm the day prior. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until, unfortunately, a transformer blew on the morning of the appointment, causing a reschedule. They called promptly and offered the upcoming Saturday or Monday. We selected Monday since we would be out of the area on Saturday.

However, on Saturday morning, they called again, offering availability for that day. I explained we weren’t in the area, and then they informed me they could no longer honor the Monday appointment they had previously agreed to. Instead, their next availability was mid-May. This was disappointing and unprofessional, especially after reading great reviews and hearing positive feedback from friends who know the owners.

We just moved to the area and were excited to find a groomer, but now our dog remains in need of grooming, and waiting another 30+ days is simply not an option. Overall, a frustrating experience and a week of wasted time when we could have...

Started out really good, but now after over a year of using their service, not so much. Takes months to get in and today when my dog was brought home to me, she looked horrible, she’s all gapped up and not even sure she was bathed…called them & the girl I spoke with had all kinds of excuses, but none covers the way my dog looks and especially when she’s the type that doesn’t mind being groomed and will stay still for about anything.
