Disappointed in the campsites but the environment and activities were fun! Very narrow roads with vehicles parked on the sides, made backing into a small site challenging. (Derrick handled it like a champ 😉) If you are not comfortable with backing your rig I would not recommend this campground. #jellystonepark #jellystoneeureka #fulltimerv #rvlife #rvlivingfulltime #fulltimetravelfamily #fulltimervlife #glamping

First off, i dont care what anyone says, this park is not big rig friendly in my personal opinion. We have a 40ft class A and getting it in and out of this park was not easy. It all started at the entry. The driveway is so steep right off the bat, that if you dont take the turn properly, youll run aground. Thankfully i drove lowered cars for over a decade so i knew to take it at an angle. The roads are narrow as can be and super windy and steep. I shouldn't touch both sides of the pavement with a 100ft hillside in my 30000lb bus while climbing the hill out of the place. There is no room for error comin or going from this park. The entire park is a hill. Most sites are moderately level despite that. Only needed 4in tall cribbing to bring the front up higher enough to be able to level out and keep all tires on the ground. We had site 64 at the very bottom of the hill. Supposed to fit a 50ft rig. No. Just no. Youll be touching the pavement on both front and back. Glad we switched from the other site we almost booked cuz wed have never made it in to, or out of, that site once we saw it in person. Way too steep of an entry. Pavement has gouges from people trying. And a steep gravel exit with washout lines from the rain. I watched an suv struggle to get up and out using it. The front desk lady made a joke of how steep and windy the entry road was. I didn't find it very funny considering the turns were so tight i didnt fit in a single lane while coming up. Didnt help the trees were low enough to touch my roof in a few places as well. And the left hand turn at the top of the driveway when leaving.... Way too tight for a 40+ ft bus. I had to make a 3 point turn to make it out. Overall, expensive, not worth the hassle in and out. Would not stay again unless renting a cabin and driving a normal passenger vehicle. This place is more suited for those wanting a cabin and not traveling in a large rig like we are.

We've come to expect cleanliness, friendly service, and good locations from Jellystone Parks. This park checks those boxes. You will hear the interstate noise day and night but it's not unbearable in a self contained unit. Can't imagine it though in a tent or fold down! There isn't much grass for walking the woofers so be prepared to walk a bit if you have a picky pooch. The sites are close together, but this type of campground is more about a destination and not so much about quiet and relaxing in solitude. The camp store is well stocked with simple items you may forget or suddenly need. The pool looked clean and refreshing. Staff was friendly and a pleasure to chat with. You can get the large campers into the full hookup sites pretty easy. I'm sure it's very busy during prime tourist season. The sunsets are great from the store area looking over the forest valley below! It's a 30 minute drive into downtown St Louis to the arch.

Let me start by saying that everything here is “fine”. Everything works, and there wasn’t necessarily anything “wrong” with our stay. The staff are super helpful and a delight to interact with.

My problem is with the prices they charge and how they underdelivered on expectations. We stayed at a cottage. The cottages are very worn down and all the appliances inside are ancient. I think the microwave had a sticker from the 90’s and the oven was probably older. It just felt “used” (in a bad way). Not what you expect from a “resort”.

If you’ve ever stayed in a trailer-camper from the early 2000’s, the cottages remind me of that- decor and all. They are very compact and the “kids room” might as well be a crawl-space. If you plan on staying with older kids/adults, I would recommend a cabin instead for extra room to get in and out of the beds.

Each cottage site comes with a fire-pit and standard camp grill. The fire-pits are in the strangest locations (right next to a tree, nearly in the neighboring driveway, right next to the cottage, etc.), are very small, and are in ground- not above ground. You also get very little privacy if anyone is next to you. Sites are practically on top of each other.

The “amenities” offered (pool, arcade, shop, snack shack, mini golf, train rides, WiFi, etc.) are all your standard camp quality. The mini golf is newer, but really nothing to write home about and already has signs of wear. The pool is pretty small, so you’ll probably have to watch closely on busy days for when the crowds die down. They do have a few planned activities throughout the day with is a plus (crafts, karaoke, movies, etc.).

The biggest problem was the value. We paid about $200 per night for 4 people after all fees and taxes. They market themselves a “resort”, but it’s closer to a roadside motel in terms of quality. The cost of the stay doesn’t even include mini golf or train rides (those are another $10 for your stay) which is frankly a rip-off.

With those prices I expected updated cottages, and at the very least, all available activities to be included in the cost. There are much better options out there for the price they charge. Unless you can get a good deal (I probably wouldn’t pay more than $70 per night for a cottage in its current state) I would highly recommend looking at alternative places to...

Never again. I booked online from their own website and paid $60 for one adult and two children. At check in I was told that I owed another $4.61 because their website doesn't calculate tax. ||I have never encountered this anywhere before in my life. I have also never paid $65 for one night of camping before. Insane! ||Got to the site and my six person tent just BARELY fit on the raised tent pad. Had I brought my larger tent I could not have set it up without ripping out the floor because the pad was tiny, elevated, and surrounded by railroad ties. ||The tent site was pea gravel. That was my first time camping on pea gravel and it made a huge mess. ||We were told that Face Painting would take place from 2 to 4 pm. At 3 pm I took my two girls there and was told that they had quit early and weren't doing any more. Que two upset, crying girls. ||On Sunday morning we went into the store and waited in line over 20 minutes to pay for the pancake breakfast. Was told to take our receipt to the pancake window. ||The older guy making the pancakes was extremely rude, told us that his help didn't show up and he was having to do everything himself and he'd get to them when he could. It was 8:45. We waited a few minutes and realized that we would NOT be served before the 9:15 train that we had purchased tickets for ($13.50). I went to ask about how long as I also still needed to pack up my tent by the 11 am check out time. The man got very rude and told me "even longer because people keep talking to him and if I didn't like it to go eat somewhere else. "||I went back inside where the line was now even longer than the first time, and they're still taking money for pancakes that they don't have time to make. ||The clerk, Amaya, told me I would have to wait another 30 plus minutes in line if I wanted a refund and that otherwise the pancakes would be done eventually. ||Regardless of the fact that we would miss our train ride, and their 11 am check out time. They had signs posted everywhere that you could not be late leaving because it was the last day of the season and they would lock the gates promptly. ||Never again. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. This on top of the camping spaces being ridiculously tiny with no privacy and no...
