I took my Mom to the Mother's day brunch and we were both severly dissapointed. The food was good with a nice selection of both breakfast and lunch items but the service was so horrendous I was actually amazed. We were led to our table and told to get plates and dig in. We did so but our waitress was nowhere to be found. We had time to finish two plates each before we flagged down a passing bus person and asked for water and coffee. Then finally almost thirty minutes into our meal the waitress finally decides to come over and literally the first words out of her mouth was to ask us if we were ready for the check. We were flabergasted. She explained that her section was full but she wanted to wait on another group of six people. I had reservations for two but they had seated us at a six top and the waitress clearly thought she would get a bigger tip from the larger group and wanted us to give our table. She didn't ask if we would mind moving to a smaller table which we would have been fine with but instead was trying to rush us out the door. We declined as we hadn't finished our meal yet and in fact had just gotten our drinks. She didn't come back for a while requiring us to ask for coffee refills from another bus person . Then when she finally did come back this time she didn't even ask about our food drinks or anything instead she just left the check on the table and walked away! I couldn't believe it. We saw her twice and both times all she wanted was to get us to leave. I am normally a very genorous tipper leaving a minimum of 20% for even the worst service but this time I actually left a zero percent tip. For the first and only time I have EVER not tipped a server. We asked for a manager and explained what had happened and he appologized but did nothing else. This was literally the worst dining experience I've ever had and it happened on Mother's day. I was so upset that my Mom didn't get to enjoy a nice meal that she deserved so very much.
Then the cherry on top was when I got my credit card statement the charge on the bill didn't match my reciet. After all that bs above the waitress apparently decided to write herself a $10 tip. I guess I should have written $0 on the line instead of leaving it blank but I would never have thought a server would go so far as to litterally forge a tip for herself. When I discovered the discrepancy I was livid and was calling Chase to dispute the charge but my mom made me hang up without reporting it becuase she thought the waitress would be fired. I think that would have been totally fair but mom is a far kinder person than I and asked me to drop it so I did. That waitress should be very glad my mom was there because if it it wasn't for her I would have probably filled out a police report for what is in my opinion...
Read moreLet me start off this review by saying that I have never before felt compelled to take the time and negatively review a business before. That being said, this restaurant is so terrible that I felt it was necessary. We had a large party staying at the Holiday Inn (this restaurant is in the hotel) as part of a wedding, and thus decided to have to rehearsal dinner here. We had over 20 people and the restaurant and staff was severely unable to handle a party that big. Service was painfully slow — took forever to get anything (I’m talking over 15 minutes for my initial drink and good luck getting a refill). Food came out well over an hour after we arrived, and we ordered in advance! That’s right, they had our order in advance and it still came out that late! The food itself was low-quality and had almost no taste. My “salad” was some browning iceberg lettuce on a plate with a couple cucumbers, onion slices, cherry tomatoes and cheap tasting dressing. My steak had no seasoning of any kind, the mashed potatoes were equally tasteless. The vegetable was some kind of squash/zucchini thing that was inedible. The dessert was the “best” part, but tasted like something you buy at the grocery store and pull out of the freezer. The worst part? They charged $33 a plate knowing full well that the food was low quality. I will say that the older server was at least nice. The younger, blond server spent time putting up Christmas decorations while the older sever struggled to get things for the table. The manager helped minimally and clearly has zero idea of how to run a restaurant. I am seriously not exaggerating, it was literally this bad. This place would be a good candidate for the show “Kitchen...
