What a magical place, I hope we can go back someday. ||I think I only picked these cabins because even just a week after securing our Brandi Carlile/Red Rocks tickets, most places had already booked up. Frankly the amount of availability here was a bit off-putting - was something wrong with it? Absolutely not! The amazing top-star reviews here are all right on the mark. We had a great stay. My only regret is that, as out-of-state tourists, we filled up our time too much and didn't get to just relax on-site as much as I might have liked. I think my ideal return visit would include at least one full day where we don't have to leave the resort unless we decide to go get a meal somewhere.||The cabins are close enough to Red Rocks to be an easy drive to the show. The drive back was a bit trickier as the roads Google wanted us to take were closed after the show. But the path that ended up being open was gentler mountain driving than some other options, which is a big plus in the dark on unfamiliar roads. ||One thing I had a question about because some of the reviews get confusing: there is a hot tub shared by all cabins. It is not a private hot tub despite what some reviewers say - however it seems like it's an under-utilized hot tub and odds are good your experience will be private. We spent some time there in the morning before checking out and have no idea if anyone else was even in the resort still.||A variety of snacks and drinks are available for pre-order. I think for the most part these are priced appropriately for a boutique stay and costs being what they are in 2024, but some of the cocktail options still seemed a bit much. However: our cheese plate was the perfect snack after the concert and the mimosa flight gave us drinks over two mornings (1 mimosa 1 day, 2 mimosas the next). I was not clear what breakfast options came with the cabin at this time (and just didn't care enough to ask, lol, I thought we'd figure it out) so was pleased to also have some continental breakfast-type snacks for our first morning. Additional food is available to order if you do so in advance. (We also loved the local beer variety pack, though since we had also bought two six-packs so we could do a little tailgating before Brandi, we ended up having to fly most of the beer home with us! Still - not like we won't drink it!)||We stayed in Fish Camp. It was isolated enough (close to the nearest cabin, but their deck has a solid partial wall and we never saw more than legs). The view off the deck is everything we wanted from our stay. The cabin is charming and cozy.||One negative I see in some reviews related to customer service. I sent several messages and had timely, informative, helpful responses. We didn't run into any issues (and, having read the rules and because I always do so, we purchased travel insurance to cover us if we weren't able to make the stay!).||I loved our weekend here. I am not sure when we'll be back to Colorado but a repeat stay here will be top of my...

Read moreThis place is amazing! From the wonderful owners, to the accommodations, the location and outstanding food, my husband and I had a 5 star experience here! We stayed here in late January 2016 and have already booked again for this December 2017 because we can't imagine coming to Colorado and not staying here! We ate breakfast each morning at the cafe as it is included in the stay and were blown away by the big portions and how wonderful the food was, but it was even better because we felt we were getting specialized treatment because we were also guests. The owners went out of their way when we wanted the pizza on the patio because the weather was cold, they had to slowly heat the wood burning oven and tend to it so it would crack. They almost couldn't do it but they went out of their way to accommodate us and we are so grateful, we came from the cabin in the snow to bake two pizzas together, just my husband and I and then went back to the cabin to eat in front of the fireplace, there is nothing else like it!! We felt we were by ourselves with no one around, it was amazing! You can't stay here and not get in the hot tub because it is perfect, especially in the winter when it is cold and snowing! Total privacy even though we were staying in the chicken coop which is right next to the park there was barely any noise and believe me, we are privacy people. We saw wildlife from the back porch which Mark shoveled off each morning before we even woke up! That is awesome hospitality! We went up to a local butcher shop and bought some Buffalo and quail and cooked it on the grill right off the back porch in the snow and it was fantastic! All around, it was one of the most amazing experiences we have had and can't wait to go back...
