25 East Main Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Fincastle

We just enjoyed the most amazing visit to Fincastle, VA. We stayed at the 25 E. Main Bed & Breakfast. Bobbie and Mitch are the most wonderful hosts that we have yet encountered! The home is an absolute master piece, our room was comfy and had every convenience that one could want, including a chilled bottle of water . We spent a delightful evening walking the lovely town and then sitting on the B&Bs back porch sipping wine with Bobbie and Mitch. Breakfast the next morning was served up with excellent coffee, pastry from the local bakery, fruit that was perfect, and the morning epic was their pancakes, cornmeal and blueberry, served with real maple syrup or locally raised honey. I’d highly recommend this B&B to anybody. The hosts, Bobby and Mitch are one of the warmest, most welcoming couples I’ve ever met. I was here on a Mother’s day trip with my mom, and we spent a lot of the time hiking on and around the Appalachian trail (beautiful scenery all around the area). Bobby and Mitch were so helpful with our trip, giving us tips on where to go and letting us borrow their cooler and lawn chairs for picnic lunches. The breakfasts were outstanding - a different dish every morning (which we chose) - and the house is a very cool place to stay. It is a historic home from the 1870’s, and the backyard is beautifully set up for hanging out or reading a book. I can’t recommend staying here...

My husband and I recently visited the charming town of Fincastle for him to do some family genealogy work. A highlight of this trip was our stay at the 25 East Main Street Bed and Breakfast which is located in the heart of the town. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mitch and Bobbie who were most helpful in orienting us to Fincastle. The house has been in Bobbie’s family for years and is beautifully furnished.
