To call this court is HORRIBLE. A TWO MINUTE LONG ELECTRONIC MESSAGE OF "IF YOU WANT TOS." I pressed what I THOUGHT was relative to what I was calling for to hear ANOTHER TWO MINUTES OF "IF YOU WANT TOS," NONE of which related to what I was calling for, so BACK to the TWO MINUTE LONG ELECTRONIC MESSAGE I had to listen to in the first place and I had to GUESS what might be relating to what I was calling for. These 5 minute long blah blahs that "answer" your call are a sure sign of laziness and the unwillingness to assist the people who most often are dealing with the courts for the FIRST TIME and need a REAL PERSON to speak to, NOT A MESSAGE DIRECTED AT PEOPLE WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE COURT SYSTEM (AH HEM, REPEAT OFFENDERS, who should know what to ask for in the first place!!!). Glad this is my first time with this court and after 60 years I hope it will be the LAST! HORRIBLE...

If you ever receive a ticket on I-81 and its states “Botetourt County Va. Traffic Court” pay the ticket you will not win!!! If your plea is not guilty. It’s a small town, Cops giving out ticket is how the town produces revenue. I never saw a Judicial System that’s so corrupt it’s all about the money (court costs) Judge believes the officer over evidence. The clerk stated “the officer always shows up. It’s a courthouse with one room for traffic offenses and one judge. So, what does that tell you? The officer and judge are well connected. Higher up needs to investigate this town. They were trying to make all of us sit in a very small room with the chairs touching each other. I refused due to not being able to social distance, but they still insisted, telling me I had a mask on. I told them the GUIDELINES were a mask AND 6ft apart.
