
We stayed at the Archer Florham Park for 10 nights in December to visit friends and family and conduct business. We had an okay experience. It's a beautiful hotel and the accommodations are for the most part comfortable outside of the limited workspace in the King room. The lobby and individual room decor was very modern and well put together. There is plenty of parking, a really nice gym a warm indoor pool and a large breakfast area. Our bed was were very comfortable and the Nespresso maker in the room was awesome. The bathroom was large with high end amenities. Now for the not so great part. We arrived around 8 pm to the hotel and after reading about Archer's kitchen on the website were looking forward to the convenience of having a relaxing dinner and a drink at the hotel. Unfortunately when we arrived, there was a corporate Holiday party going on in the hotel bar which abuts the hotel lobby and restaurant. It's basically all one open space so there was no avoiding the party goers or any chance of finding an open place at the bar or even an open table because the tables were blocked off. Disappointed, we asked the front desk as to what our dinner options would be since our original plan was a no go. We were told that we had to fight our way to the bar, place an order with the bar tenders and then wait and they would pack it up to take back to the room. Okay fine. Not great but at least we could eat in peace. Getting the bar tenders attention was one thing but then after instructing them to pack it to go, the food arrived 30 mins later on regular china and not prepared to take to our room. At that point we said f*ck it let's stuff our faces among these random strangers otherwise we are going to have to wait again for the food to be packed correctly. After a long travel day we gave up. The worst part was that given the time of the year there was a corporate holiday party happening just about every night. Making eating or having a drink at the hotel an absent option. We did enjoy the hotel breakfast and found it to be a good value with high quality options and good variety. However the service provided was less then underwhelming. We were lucky if they showed up before the end of the meal to drop off the check. I get that it's a buffet but a coffee warm up and some water would be a nice touch for a hotel such as this. One of the servers was quite friendly and helpful but most of the others barely ever flashed a smile or acknowledged our existence. Well let me just say from the moment I stepped foot in the door Justin greeted me as if he was expecting a family member. He was professional, relatable, courteous and delivered impeccable service. Ebonae finished with her guest and greeted me warmly as well. They both gave me warm heart felt Birthday wishes and gave me amazing details to enhance my stay. I met a friend for dinner and drinks Alex delivered top notch service from start to finish. He made awesome recommendations and accommodated our every need. Lanelle joined in and assisted with drink orders and later a room delivery. Janelle and Alex were the epitome of excellent and courteous service. Hats off to the Chef the food waa delectable! We tried many appetizers and small plates and each one was full of flavor simply divine to the taste! The entire bar l/ restaurant team made us feel welcome and cared for. I ended my stay with breakfast. I was greeted immediately by an engaging smile and a dynamic personality her name was Enchelle. She gave me an overview of the breakfast service and brought me my beverage of choice as I settled in. I watched her circulate around the dining area tending to everyone and giving each guest special attention. She asked about my stay and listened attentively she made sure I had everything I needed. As I was checking out Enchelle came over to Thank me for staying and to welcome me back anytime. Enchelle is the leader every company should have if they want to achieve success in their business. This boutique hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The King Guest room.wqs astonishing, the decor is stellar, the amenities are modern, the attention to detail is mind blowing. The bed and pillows are the most comfortable that I have ever experienced outside of my home. The grounds are well kept and the market place inventory has been well thought out. The personal touches in each room is thoughtful and gives them a noticeable edge from the start. Do yourself a favor and check them out you will not be disappointed! Read moreThe team at the Archer Hotel in Florham Park is beyond A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. They elevate hospitality to a level of class that's missing in most of the industry. They welcomed me with open arms and heartfelt grace. The front desk staff was friendly, warm, and truly accommodating. I interacted the most with Victoria, Maggie, and Caitlyn and they were the best. They never made my requests feel like a burden. As a long-term stay guest, it is easy to doubt oneself as a nuisance but their kindness and compassion effaced any of those unwarranted feelings, making me feel right at home. The rest of the front desk associates were remarkable as well, our paths did not cross as often, however, when they did it was an absolute pleasure. The housekeeping team went above and beyond and every time I requested service, they provided the utmost detailed and curated reset of my room without missing a beat. Carla provided brilliant service and whenever I opened my door after a reset, my room was immaculate. Her assistance exceeded expectations and she provided me with all I needed for my experience to feel whole, luxurious, and most importantly comfortable. It was truly a delight interacting with her. Maria always greeted me and asked me if I ever needed anything. It was a true privilege being taken care of by her team. One of the most memorable parts of my stay were my dinners and cocktail hours at the bar. Enchelle and Alex are masters of their craft and always checked in with me and carried genuine conversations throughout every interaction. It is the kind of candid service that leaves an impression long after it's over. Erin facilitated and oversaw my stay from start to finish with such great care and patience, consistently making sure I was having the best experience I could possibly have. It made all the difference. Everything from check in to check out was seamless, stress-free, and enjoyable. I feel very lucky to have spent my time at such a beautifully decorated and sophisticated space with some of the best people I have ever met.
