Fairleigh Dickinson University — Local services in Florham Park

So this evening I had an unfortunate event occur, first of all as I am typing this, I have been forced out of my dorm suite due to the use of Marijuana by a group of girls in the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. As an asthmatic, this has thoroughly become an unsafe environment. My first thought is to go to an RA BUT OH THEY ARE STUDENTS TOO AND NEED SLEEP. So I turn to the logical next step which refuses to do their job, Public Safety. They tell me that they cannot do anything until an RA is contacted but as mentioned they're asleep. They have basically told me to suffer through an UNSAFE and ILLEGAL situation within the state of New Jersey. Pitiful. I pay to be here and as such I should feel safe. I do not. I implore anyone to reconsider applying to school here, the rampant drug and alcohol abuse coupled with a lazy Public Safety staff is not worth the 60 to 70 grand a year.

This campus has gone straight into the toilet!!!! from not having change for a big bill or not being able to put money on your child's card for food or Emergency Services. Out of all the money you spend to send your child here none of the teachers/ campus stores or staff have change or dont give it. These people treat our kids like common criminals when we pay their salaries This PARTICULAR CAMPUS AT THIS University needs to go to COMMUNITY COLLEGE STATUS...

This school simply sucks. Food is awful and the people on campus especially the Greek life they are all entitled and think they are better than everyone else. Not to mention the professors that don’t even bother to teach you anything and expect you to learn everything yourself. This school is also very expensive for no reason at all. You are better off paying a bit extra to go to a school like Rutgers...
