Buffalo Ridge — Hotel in Four Corners States

We spent 2 nights in F205 and found it to be quite adequate but nothing to write home about. Below are the plus and minutes.||||+ Very clean inside and out. ||+ Well stocked kitchen||+ Recently updated carpet||+ Hot, Hot water and plenty of water pressure. Showers were nice after skiing.||+ nice use of space. Sleeps 6 well with use of pull-out couch in living area.||+ Covered carport with assigned spot.||+ Not great but decent views||+ James from A1 rentals was very responsive. Called him before our stay and he got back promptly. We called Saturday night because we didn't know the firewood was on the balcony. James got right back with us. (Sorry to bother you, James)||||- heating and plumbing noises. All and more as described in other reviews. We were able to sleep but I could see where some would find it intolerable.||- Hot tubs though clean and nice are indoors, across a parking lot in another building.||- 3 flights of stairs to level 2. Another reason you won't use the hot tubs.||- 3 miles up a populated road. A lot of condos.||- Pull out bed very uncomfortable as most are. However, the owners provided a down comforter to be placed as feather top and it helped immensely. Very thoughtful - thank you,||||||A great basic place just set your expectations accordingly...

We had a wonderful experience staying at Buffalo Ridge Condo in Silverthore, CO. We stayed in room E203 with plenty of room for a family or goup of 6-8 people. Booking was done by contacting owners directly via email and "check-in" was basically done online as well.||||There are two bedrooms downstairs with queen beds. The "master" bedroom has a bathroom with shower (no tub). There is another bathroom with shower/tub downstairs. Upstairs, is a loft overlooking the living and kitchen below which has two twin beds. Bedrooms, living room, and kitchen are tastefully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes and best of all, pantry groceries left from previous guests! I thought that was a great idea as nothing was wasted! The wide living room and kitchen windows gave a fantastic panoramic views of the mountains and trees.||||Location was also a plus. Plenty of shopping and dining nearby. Ski resorts were closeby as well. || ||I would definitely stay here again. Besides the amenities offered (cable tv, cd player, hairdryer, kitchen utensils/pots, covered parking, etc), the great value, and the ||location, the owners' warm, friendly and welcoming communication helped us to decide to stay here! The condo felt like our home...

We really enjoyed Buffalo Ridge E203. Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home with us. We were so excited when we opened the door and saw all those windows and skylights with the wonderful view of the forest and mountains. Everyone enjoyed having the covered parking right under the condo and the clubhouse just next door. We used the pool and Jacuzzi almost every day and we also had fun playing table tennis in the clubhouse. At first we weren't sure how far the condo would be from the ski areas, shopping and restaurants but we were happy to see it was only a short five minute drive down the hill.
