We stayed here for a week in September 2021. We enjoyed our stay here in our large fifth wheel (over 45 ft). Our site did not have water or sewer hookups, 50A electric only, but it did work fairly well, though I noticed the voltage drop to around 115V a few times. It's a bit tight for big rigs like ours, and rounding out corners and curves would definitely help. The upper Juniper loop restroom / shower was closed as well. They said to be back by 10pm when the gate closes, so that was a bit concerning, though we never stayed out that late to verify that it was closed at that time. Also, signage at the entrance would be helpful to prevent people from driving into the day use area when they are trying to reach the campground. Do keep in mind that there are very few services available near this location. There is a minimart with fuel and some basic groceries, and a laundromat, and that's about it unless you drive to Santa Fe or...

Some spots had good views, ours is ok. We are at Juniper loop. We are spaced out nicely. Ours had no shade over our picnic table. Our spot has lots of old dog poop, sprinkled in with cigarette butts. So lovely. The water spigot is 50 feet away. The bathrooms in the Juniper loop are closed. The showers near our site are filthy, with broken shower heads, etc. We used the bathrooms at the Ring tail cat loop, which were much cleaner and well lit. And most impressive yet it had proper drainage, so no standing water in...

Juniper loop is on top of the mesa, furthest from the lake and the shelters are non existent, the water spigots are a long distance from the campsites. Nice level and paved. Maps is not right on this. The directions take you to a locked gate but drive around a little and you can...

Nice campground with a lake, swim beach, a couple trails and a nice ride across the dam. The higher elevated sites have better tv and phone reception and a better view. The USACE does a good job here.

The most disgusting restrooms I have seen for a long time! Embarrassing to offer this to paying campground guests. Haven’t been properly cleaned for weeks or months. Filth everywhere.
