Ojo Caliente Pueblo Suites — Hotel in Four Corners States

What a great place. Nice place to soak. Having your very own fireplace makes the magic happen. The owners should be proud because they have upped their game. Really it is the smallest things. Custom coffee in the room. Real cream in the fridge. Real, separate pot for tea. This means something special. Those kinds of touches male it magic. One so very minor thing: SOME of the staff could benefit from some training on professionalism. Perhaps an upgrade on uniforms. This place is striving for resort status. The restaurant seems to be a bit under pressure from supply chain issues. Chef's palate has developed over the last few years. For the prices on the menu, one would expect that a Sommelier would be the next most important...

Thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, private baths and Kiva pool, also all the various main area pools. Restaurant was nice enough, a bit more pricey than I felt was reasonable but not outrageous. Out of the 4 meals we had there 3/4 waiters were above average. The other was abysmal. It was a very busy week when we visited (thanksgiving) and that put a bit of a damper on the experience, specifically when people don't follow the rules and fail to maintain silence within the designated areas. No one wants to hear you....

What an incredible place to visit. We stayed in a Posi Suite. Definitely recommend going this direction. Our suite had a small kitchenette, large shower, adobe style fireplace and private soaking tub on the patio. When you stay in the suites you have access to a private soaking tub in the center of the suites that has the most incredible view of the stars at night. The resort is the only place to dine nearby.
