The manager should not be the manager, he doesn't know how to run a hotel and he always looks rough and there's so many upgrades that need to be done. We were woken up my granddaughter and I at 4:30 in the morning when I slipped out of bed to answer the phone the whole room was flooded. They moved us rooms but the manager wouldn't even come down and he stays at the hotel. The next day I ran into him in the hall with the gal that works the breakfast there. They did not compensate us anything as they said that there's going to be damages and they mentioned the tub overflowing! We never use the tub we use it in the morning, before I take my granddaughter to school. I went back to the room two doors down as I left it unlocked and I took a video of the toilet. I also have a witness Esther that works there that watched. When you flush the toilet and there was stuff in there it overflows and the handle on the toilet sticks so if you don't shake the handle it'll just keep overflowing and I have videos! How dare he say that we caused that!! It's not busy there at all, but the people at breakfast had many complaints about the place. I have a reservation in July for our 50th high school reunion as I grew up in canyon City but was only visiting my granddaughter and daughter. Let me know if you'd like me to send any of the videos. The manager JP is very very rude and won't lick you in the eye and doesn't look professional at all! The employees there had complaints where he was concerned. My name is Paula Campbell, my number is 719-210-9669. When we stayed there Saturday to Monday I had called that week before I booked the room to make sure the pool was working and they said it was and then when we got there, they said it been down for 3 months! So someone lied to me exclamation The only reason and I mean the only reason I book there is because my granddaughter was in a parade and her friends wanted to swim. I wouldn't have over $180 when I could have stayed with my daughter or one of my brothers or my aunt that still live in canyon City for free! My granddaughter and her friends wanted to pool and that's why we booked it and that's why I called before as I know to call before to make sure that pool is not...
Read moreThe noise level on the hall was disturbing. There was a cat in the hall, waiting at the door of a room to be let in. The the front desk personnel in the daytime in the morning was very nice when I mentioned that to him. Even though the rooms were updated, it wasn’t enough. Some of the entrance doors did not allow access into a hotel and room area. It was blue tape on some of the doors which looks very unprofessional. The breakfast no fruit and very poor quality. Definitely not the Colorado quality. No decaf tea nor coffee.
This is not a typical choice Hotel. I’ve stayed in Choice hotels, which updated properly. I rented two rooms. One for my friend and one for me. So it was a two room rip off. The kitchen had no coffee makers. It’s a little kitchen. When I booked the room, the girl was very nice on the phone and she stated there were two queen beds in the room. There was one double bed in the room. I don’t think that was a queen. Very misleading. The large fridge was nice. The people cooking created I’m unpleasant smells from the food in the halls that came into the rooms. Of course ,,,and it wasn’t always pleasant. The bed was...
Read moreThe rooms were amazing. Very clean. They supplied dishes. The bathroom was nice. There was a his and her sink. There was a separate bathroom part with a toilet and bathtub. The bathtub was really deep and relaxing. The Wi-Fi works amazing. There's multiple channels to watch TV on. The bed was really comfortable. The pillows were nice. The pool was amazing. I did not eat breakfast there but that looks too good too. Everybody was super helpful. I went there for vacation and everybody gave me ideas to go to a lot of different places around there. I'm very happy I booked it with them when I go back to canyon City I will be booking with them again. I currently live in a hotel in Denver and that hotel was immaculate compared to stuff out here Thank you suburban studios for the...
