We stayed here for 2 weeks and booked a 2 bed condo through Virgin. We were given #406 in building 4. We had a small pool behind us (didn’t use) and were a short walk to the main reception. ||On check in, we found the staff less than helpful. They were busy talking to a colleague and I felt like I was interrupting them. Was just given a booklet and 3 keys and told where we were, and that was it. No info about the amenities that you’d expect from accommodation with a front desk anyway. ||We were grateful to be given a superior 2 bedroom condo located on the ground floor given that we had 3 large suitcases and a pram, plus the rest! ||First impressions were great. Plenty of parking as it was low season so not many other guests. The condo itself surpassed expectations as it was quite modern (were used to the 90’s decor you find in the villas). ||After 30 minutes walking around barefoot, all of our feet were black. The floors clearly hadn’t seen a mop in a long time. If they use what’s left in the condo for cleaning, then it’s no wonder the floors were filthy. I spent the first morning of our stay going to Walmart to buy a proper mop & bucket and some disinfectant. I’m not normally a stickler for somewhere being spotless, but having a 2 year old who likes to play with his cars on the floor, it’s necessary. They also have a ‘cleanliness’ policy that is in the booklet - which is clearly just for show. As after buying some disinfectant wipes, that clearly wasn’t the case. So that was disappointing. No big deal, I don’t mind cleaning to make sure it’s clean enough for us. ||The next issue we came across was the fridge freezer was unbalanced. Every time the door was opened it would swing and would move about an inch. Again, this was a safety concern for our little boy. ||We emailed Virgin as we thought it important to let them know about the issues we came across - if you just report it to front desk, they don’t let the tour operator know what they’re actually providing in terms of service. ||We also found out that our privacy lock didn’t work, and that the door wasn’t flush with the frame. You could actually see the frame part of the lock when the door was shut. So that didn’t make us feel great about the security of a ground level condo. We just kept the door chain on whilst we were inside for extra security. ||Virgin sorted out maintenance to come around to look at our issues, and they sorted the fridge out. They couldn’t do anything about the door. Virgin struggled to get information and updates out of the maintenance guy there. ||The pool by Tradewinds is the one we used because they had the bar/restaurant there. The pizza was hit/miss and often bar staff were nowhere to be found and was left waiting for 10+ minutes. ||I guess overall it’s an okay place, but not very clean, it’s run down and the customer...

Beautiful units, beautiful grounds, but the staff is incredibly rude and it didn’t matter what time of day. Check-in was Nothing short of a nightmare. We arrived about 20 minutes before our check-in time and they said our unit wasn’t ready. He said he would call me when the unit was ready. Long story short, after an hour and a half the unit still wasn’t ready and he didn’t know when it would be despite the owner letting us know the unit should be ready at check-in time. We were offered by the unit owner to use the showers in the clubhouse and the pool so we did shower there after driving for 25 hours and waiting for a room to be available. We decided to go to Clearwater Beach, gone for several hours, got back at 11:00 PM and still had not received a phone call that our unit was ready. I stood at the check in desk for over 30 minutes listening to two women gossip before one of them finally turned around to help me even after I said excuse me multiple times. I even tried to call while I was standing at the desk and nobody answered. We finally got into our room about 11:45 PM. There was no interaction other than handing us a packet. No guidance as to where to find the unit we were looking for or where anything was. The packet contain a parking pass and two room keys but nothing else. Luckily there was a man outside that helped point us in the direction of our room. Also, while we were waiting for a room to become available, I was taking pictures of my kids outside and while I was taking pictures of the staff turn the sprinklers on intentionally where we were standing and then stood at the door laughing when we were getting soaked. Very unprofessional. Lastly, my daughter believes she left two of her favorite articles of clothing in the bathroom when we were leaving. I’ve called multiple times today to try to see if they were located and they just kept telling me to call back an hour later. After the fifth or sixth phone call, I was told I need to call back tomorrow. We are leaving out at 7 AM and I was hoping that if they were there I would have a chance to pick them up before we left, but I’ve been calling since noon and nobody seems to care to answer any questions or to tell me who I need to talk to you to find out. The unit was beautiful, the owner was very attentive and amazing, but the staff on ground are terrible and incredibly rude. Not to mention, check in time is supposed to be 10 AM but we had someone knocking on our door at 9:40 telling us we needed to go so he could start cleaning. I will not stay there again based on the staff on ground and how...

Beautifully decorated, extra large condos. Ours had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths + a sofa bed & large chair in the living room with a TV with DVD player, phone & free Wifi. The kitchen was huge with tons of counter space, pantry, new fridge, double sink, 4 slice toaster, blender, tea kettle & coffee maker. The microwave worked but was broken & needed to be replaced. The dish washer was also missing buttons & could have used to be replaced. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots & pans, casserole dishes, mixing bowls, gadgets, utensils, plastic & glass plates, bowls, cups, small & large drinking glasses + wine glasses, garbage can with extra bag, sponge & dish derergent, washcloth & hand towel. The master bedroom was very large with a king size bed, walk in closet with folding crib & highchair (if needed.) There was a nice dresser with mirror, 2 nightstands & TV. There were plenty of extra towels, pillows, sheets & bathroom necessities. The master bathroom was extra-large also, very nicely decorated with huge vanity with bright lighting & mirrors, soaking tub, separate shower & double sinks with plenty of cabinets & drawers. The second bedroom had 2 twin beds with a closet, dresser & TV (besides having it's own bathroom.) There was also a dining area, which had a pretty glass table with six comfy chairs. Besides that, the open living room had a bar with stools attached to the kitchen counters. Very spacious! A nice touch was the laundry room, vacuum & giant screened in porch with plenty of chairs & tables. All--in-all, I would highly recommend this place! There were several pool & play areas (which we did not use.) Also, there is a restaurant/bar on the property (which we did not visit.) This resort is a little off the beaten path but still close enough to theme parks, attractions restaurants. I would have given 5*'s if the appliances in the kitchen weren't in such bad shape. Everything else was fantastic!

room 610🤮🤮🤮 Do not rent rooms from private individuals at this resort! The pictures say it all! Apartment number 610 As tourists making just a short stop in Orlando, we expected at least a basic level of cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately, this place turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The moment we walked in, we were hit by the smell of damp and mold , something between a musty basement and an old man’s forgotten closet. We thought: “Let’s air it out, maybe it’ll be fine.” But the longer we stayed, the worse it got. At first glance, the apartment doesn’t look that bad but the moment you enter the bedroom, reality hits. The bedsheets looked like they had been chewed up and spit out wrinkled, messy, and definitely not prepared for guests. It honestly made us wonder if someone had stayed there earlier that day and ran out just like we eventually did. There was no duvet , just a thin, uncomfortable blanket. I’ve never encountered a rental where the bedroom didn’t have proper bedding. The floor was dirty, dust was everywhere, and the mirrors hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like multiple guest stays. The bathroom? Moldy, smelly, and with pubic hair right by the shower. The toilet brush was literally covered in filth and wrapped in a plastic bag💩💩💩 .. seriously, what is that even about? In the drawers, we found dirty, used tissues. Filth everywhere. And the kitchen? A complete disaster. The stovetop hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and the fridge was just disgusting🤢 We lost half a day of our trip trying to find another place and move out. No one should have to go through this. This apartment is not worth a single dollar. Absolutely not recommended 🥴the worst accommodation experience we’ve ever had🤢 One star and only because the AC worked. Though, judging by the state of everything else, it’s probably full of mold too and we’re lucky we didn’t get sick🤮🤮🤮

Let me start by saying renter beware explanation. If you rent the unit in this resort and it is privately owned and it has dirty carpet and it is old and ugly and the bed is extremely uncomfortable with stains on the wall also plywood holding the couch up. I have pictures to prove it. I stayed in building 27 unit 905 do not rent that unit they have plywood under the cushions of the couch and the carpet is filthy and the mattresses are very uncomfortable. now if you rent directly from the resort you will get a better unit but if you rent from a private owner in this resort and you are uncomfortable or have any complaints this resort will NOT do anything for you they will tell you it is a private unit they can't help you... that is horrible customer service!!! now I switched over because I needed to stay 2 more weeks to a resort unit and the resort unit is much better clean and much more comfortable. now the issues I have with the resort construction is going on at a neighboring unit and the construction crews come in at 6:30am in the morning and they don't care if you're sleeping and they pick up dumpsters as late as 10:30pm at night and again they don't care that you're sleeping the resort is aware of this and they don't care... Bottom line is I stayed here for one month and I rented a unit that was privately owned units are hit or miss my unit I stayed in was extremely uncomfortable and they did nothing for me again because it's privately owned the resort should hold the owners to a higher standard make them remodel the units clean the floors paint the walls put in comfortable mattresses put in a washer machine that doesn't sound like a tank hold these private owners to a higher standard it is a representation of your resort.
