Franklin Inn & Suites — Hotel in Franklin

We stayed 1 night King Suite two adults toddler and teen. Front desk girl was out by the pool when we arrived so there was a slight delay on Check In. We get in the room unpack and notice there is no bedding for the sleeper sofa. Call the front desk and I'm told I need to come get it. Ok I go get the "bedding" it's a sheet and blanket? I ask about a pillow, she says we Don't have extra pillows? What so they sold me a room that sleeps 3 but the 3rd needs to bring his bedding. (Smh) We are in town for a baseball tournament and have two Sunday games Saturday night I go down to the front desk to ask if we can get a late check out, the girl says we only do two late checkouts and they are already taken. I ask to speak with the GM I would be willing to pay to have somewhere to go in between games. She said I needed to talk to the girl in Morning because she didn't want to do something and get in trouble. Needless to say we did not get the late check out. ||The room was clean but the bed was hard and the sleeper sofa was just springs covered by cloth and the single sheet we were given to cover it and a wool blanket you would get from a shelter. Oh, I forgot to mention the sheet and blanket were not folded, they were given to me in a ball. She mentioned she was not good at folding. Highly disappointed, will never recommend this BestWestern and will not return. The General Manager, Manager and staff should be ashamed. I've never stayed in a place with such poor service. I stayed here four nights looking for a clean, comfortable, secure room with nothing fancy. Overall, this hotel met my needs, but there were a few serious issues. Twice during my stay, my room was not serviced. The first time, I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door until about 9 A.M., then switched it to "make up room" when I left the room for the day. The second time, I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door until about 8:30 A.M. then took the sign down completely when I left the room at 8:30. When I brought this to management's attention, they politely explained to me that, if a maid comes by one time and there is a "do not disturb" sign on the door, I've missed my chance to have my room serviced. Check out time is 11 A.M., so a maid must work until at least that time to make sure all the rooms are serviced. When I explained to management that their policy is unsatisfactory, all I got was lip service. This hotel advertises that it comes with breakfast. On the fourth morning of my stay, there was no hot breakfast, only cereal and pastries. When I inquired why, management said there weren't enough people staying in the hotel that day for them to prepare a hot breakfast. I'm not sure about the actual Inn but the service there SUCKS. The ladies are not helpful at all. Our employees stayed there for business and checked in as staying until Friday and then the job canceled so they checked out the day before and before check out time. I even have the receipt for checking out at 7:29 am, the front desk and manager would not budge on fixing our overpayment on our credit card and kept saying I was being rude when all I was trying to do is resolve a issue of our credit card being charge for the night our guys did not stay. They said I was threatening them when I said would would have to find another place to stay as we will be working up there for a while. That was not a threat...it is a FACT.
