Franklin Supermarket — Local services in Franklin

The ONLY place to buy Groceries in Franklin. I mean I guess you can buy a few select things at Dollar General or the Convenient Stores, but not like Hearne with two Grocery stores. So that is actually why I'm giving 4 stars because the prices are surprisingly decent considering no direct competition, not a major chain, and of the beaten path. The Blue Bell is always cheaper here matter a fact then either of the Hearne stores and a better selection (of Blue Bell, guess people in Franklin like ice cream) The rest of the store does not have a huge selection, the checkout is weird the way it's set up and they empty your cart on one end and bag you into another on the other end. And the parking lot is also set up crappy kind one way around and tight so can't give 5 stars. But ALL the people who work here are super friendly! Oh and I hope you don't have to use the restroom because i did once about 8 months ago and you go through the door back by bread and then literally squeeze and climb through to the opposite side front of building through all the items stored back there to the...

I have lived in the area for 7 years and honestly, sometimes you can't find specialty items and the prices can be a little higher. Having said that, you can find items that there bigger stores don't carry. The higher price is more than offset by the gas and time spent to go all the way to Bryan or Marlin. The staff remember who you are after a couple of times and the fried chicken in the deli reminds me of Sunday chicken after church at Grandma's house. Incidentally, they have fresh fried chicken on Sunday too! Great place with a true hometown feel. The only reason for only 4 stars is because I cook ethnic food a lot and I can't get some of the more authentic items here. If not for that or if you are straight up...

Just wanted to swing by and leave a review to the 2 sweet lady’s this morning that we’re very kind & helped my daughter and i with our groceries & the one lady that helped me with my groceries as i thought i had enough stressing over going through what needed to be taking out and crying cause of how stressed i was, god bless your kind soul 🫶🏻 & my sweet cashier too who helped me and gave me a hug .
