When I first arrived at the Motel it felt like I was going to have a pleasant stay . Boyyyy was that not the case , š¤¦š¾āāļøš¤¦š¾āāļø . Asked for some extra towels the next morning because I had a big family while we shared 2 rooms . The woman at the desk instantly gave me an attitude for asking and it was like pulling teeth to get some smh . She finally budged , like what the heck . The day after , my daughter went up to the desk and asked for a single towel and this time a guy , did the same thing . When she came back to the room to tell me what happened , they ended up calling the room in the middle of her explaining . My son answered and I could hear a different guy asking him what ā s the issue ( like he was trying to check him or something ) . So of course I took the phone and said hello and his demeanor immediately changed lol . Long story short I told him Iām coming up to the front desk to chat with him . Skinny guy with short black hair and earring . Pretty much talked about a bunch of nothing over why we couldnāt get extra towels so I just left it at that . At the end of the conversation he tried to fix by apologizing but the damage was already done . After I got back to my room , minutes later him and the first guy I talked to popped up with 3 sets of towels šš , what a joke . Ofc we took em lol . Ready for the grand finale ?? The next day ( 3rd ) last day before we leave , we get a call from the front desk at 940 am telling us that we have 20 minutes to leave the room because at 10 o clock room service would be entering in to clean , like huh ?!!!!! Mind you , I have 2 rooms right next to each other and a 9 month old . Like , weāre not going anywhere !! So what do I do ?? I hit up the front desk again and what do you know ? Itās the same lady that didnāt wanna give me any towels š¤¦š¾āāļøš¤¦š¾āāļø . I explain to her nicely that we werenāt leaving and that we donāt have to , we have the option to decline room service and that you canāt make us take it . She pretty much tried to bully me out anyway . She proceeded to tell me that the owner wants it that way so I asked her to call him and she did . They picked up and she started talking and I asked her while she was on the phone if I could speak to him , of course she ignored me š¤£š¤£ . After she got off the phone she looked at me with the most disappointed face ever and said that he said ā their fine , if they donāt want it they donāt have to take it they can stay in the rooms if they want to ā . Moral of the story , do your research before you book a room , especially when it comes to a MOTEL...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to make this review as honest as possible. So I will start with this, Franklin is by no means known for itās good hotels. Generally speaking, most of Franklinās hotels are run down, bug infested, and filled with drug traffic. So in comparison, this hotel is a ānicerā hotel. We paid $66.06 for our 2 queen room. Most lower end hotels require a $50 incidentals fee so I was prepared for that. What I was not prepared for was to be asked for a $100 incidentals fee. They were nice enough to drop the fee down to $50 though. My 2 stars are only because the staff was polite & the room wasnāt infested with bugs to our knowledge. As for the hotel, the first floor seems to be under construction, so be prepared for noise if you are on the second floor. There is no elevator. And the entire hotel (halls & room) smell of cigarette smoke & air freshener like theyāre trying to mask the odor. We also smelled fresh cigarette smoke halfway through the hotel, so there are most definitely people smoking in the rooms. For a ānon-smokingā hotel, it seems to be rather smoker friendly. So if you have a lung condition like myself, I would NOT recommend. The room also was not very clean. We found trash under one of the bed. The bedding on both beds were stained and when we inspected for bedbugs, we noticed the mattress protectors were also VERY dirty. The lampshade is definitely stained with cigarette smoke. And the end table & lamp wasnāt really wiped down. The table had very obvious cigarette burn marks on it as well. Our door was broken and looked as though someone had attempted to break the door down at some point. The shower was pretty poorly as well. The pain in the tub was chipping away and the faucet and handle were covered in grime and mildew. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and you can feels they springs. There are only 2 very thin pillows per bed as well. The towels were also stained. We also only received a single room key even though there were 2 of us staying in the room. All of this is sad given the location for this hotel. Itās off of a truck stop, so prime location for travelers to stay. I believe with some work, this hotel could really bring in some good business. Unfortunately, I find it lacking. Ultimately, if you want a cheap room to get through the night, this location would work. Otherwise⦠I recommend finding a different location. I personally do not feel like this room was worth the money spent and I am sorely disappointed...

The level of creepy and poor customer service will be why I'll never stay here again. I get to the front desk and dude starts demanding I bring up my last booking online to write a review right then and there. He takes my phone even started going through my emails telling me to "hold on" when I demanded it back. He insisted I write a positive review immediately while in his presence. Finally I told him I needed to use the bathroom and he gave me my room key. I was getting my stuff together and stopped to receive a phone call when dude scares the crap out me banging on my car window. This is where im the most upset about and his apparent mental illness effecting his behavior. He told me he gave me the wrong room key and hands me the right on. I'm on the phone so I tell him I'll give him the other key when I'm done. And I did, dug it out of my purse walked in through the main entrance and handed him the key. He says, "Thank you," and he appreciates me returning the key right away. Now is where his behavior is inexcusable. He begins calling my room over and over and over as I just got in the shower. He's calling demanding I return the key I just handed over to him. He starts insinuating I'm a liar. And hangs up on me. And calls me right back only to insult me again. I go downstairs to confront this behavior and to tell him to check the cameras. His lie as a response, "I did, you never handed me that key." I'm angry now so I walk away. He yells at me to check my car since I never gave him the key. I want to leave but can't since I already paid and doubt I'll get a refund. Oh and I paid for a king bed room, he puts me in a smaller full size bed room. I leave a note and the key in my room. The following day I get a text message. I've attached the screenshot. It's the same guys number little did I know. When I call back he answers and I tell him what the text message says. His response, "what are you talking about?" I hang up. I WILL NEVER...
