Park is clean and well kept. It is in need of some upgrades and sites can be cramped. Staff informed us that expansion and upgrades in the works. The cabins are awesome. They are planning more of those to. The park is fantastic. Much to do for active outdoors people. Scenery is gorgeous. This is a great weekend get away or three day stop over. Gadsden police patrol the rv park. Plenty of trash receptacles maintained by city trash pickup. Shower facilities are very nice. It's a scenic shady spot. It's also the first time I have ever seen solid black squirrels. They have sites that can accommodate very large rigs. We have a 43' fifth wheel and had no trouble. We saw everything from small tents to a very large older model diesel pusher that looked like a greyhound bus. As far as cramped sites it isn't nearly as tight as Tybee Island Georgia for those of you who have...

20230329 1.7 mile gravel trail through the campground away from the waterfalls. There are picnic Pavillions, can be rented, and a small restroom with running water. The space to the sink is very tight, not for larger ladies. The waterfall is pretty, with an area for kids to play in the water on the other side of the bridge. There is a playground with a much larger and nicer restroom, more Pavillions, a visitors center with petting zoo, train ride and gift shop further away in the other side of the falls from the campground. If you walk a litter further, there is a Patriot Park dedicated to the Military with an outdoor exhibit. Worth seeing. There is a Popsicle shop with homemade Popsicles, which...

First time here and we love it. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates. All sites have concrete pads and can handle rigs up to 40 feet. Some sites are pretty close but most are spaced apart at an acceptable distance. Nearly all sites are shaded, have fire pits, and picnic tables. They have a nice pool, playground, laundry room, and two huge pavilions on site. If you like to hike this is the campground for you. The Black Creek Trail system has several hiking and bike trails accessible from the campground. The Gorge trail is a loop trail that takes you under and behind the 90 foot Noccalula Falls. Our 8 year old granddaughter loved it. She also enjoyed relaxing along the creek with her feet...

Great $18/night campground but be warned spots are very close together and roads are washed out and rough. We came in mid February and almost all of the water/electric sites (no sewer) was available. Sites with sewer were pretty much full. But there is a dump station available which seems rarely used. Showers were clean but I didn’t have much hot water… warm at first then kind of chilly. Full 5G Verizon service but WiFi is available. Beautiful waterfall and nature trails of course. Even though there is a map detailing all the trails, when you’re actually on trail it is very difficult to tell where the trail is. There are few signs and small pink flags that are hard to spot. Lots of graffiti :(
