Blackstone Pizza Kitchen — Restaurant in Gadsden

This is Ina Peterson's (my mother's post on Facebook I am sorry but I have to agree my husband and myself used to order there all the time. Dude sandwhich light sauce no sausage. He would get the Nachos or Pizza. My dude had sausage on it a few times even after I made sure to repeat my order and them repeat back. Now my Dude sandwhich has no meat and went up 3 dollars . No thank you . His salad has jalapenos all over them when I said none and repeated whole order and they repeated. Once his box had been dumped over lettuce and everything was hanging out of box. I think that told for that one was 24. Never again. I will pay the 11 for the dude with the same amount of meat that was on the 7.50. We loved this place when it opened. We ordered atleast once a week. My mother ordered at least twice a month. Wish it would of stayed the same. Now we go else where and we live on the mountain.

This one of the two best places to eat near Noccalula. It and our Thai restaurant up here are among the best nn the county and top ten percent in the state. The gourmet topping combos are great and the idea of offering to he same toppings with three different presentations pizza, quesadilla, and salad is somewhat novel. Thumbs up for the folks at blackstone's.

Update we went to Blackstone last night, and as always the food was outstanding but I must say the price jump was disappointing. Every item that had been priced at 7.50 was now 11 that is a 33 percent jump in price all at once time I think we are reacting to too many false influences on the economy and just because consumers are accepting these price increases does not mean that consumers will be able to endure these price hikes along with the decrease in customer service...

Always order the dude. The meat was dry and tasted funny. The dough was not cooked. I took two bites thinking it was me but my husband said this was the worst one we have had from here. I called and told the girl the meat tasted bad. She did however said she would make a new one but the meat was bad and I said that's ok. She said thanks for letting us know. Lol, what the crap. Anyway. I don't know what's so different about the one downtown than up on the mountain but I've never had a bad one downtown but the one up here is hit or miss. Won't be paying over $20 on a pie up here again. Good while it was hit or miss. That's sad since there's only a few things up here so you don't have to hit meighan. Kat thai it is...
