Out By The Sea Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Galveston

I was very disappointed, the room’s are very small, the owner show us 2 rooms, the one we stay was not very clean, the room had a smell and we keep asking for the WiFi password, my husband had to call her a few times, finally she sent a picture with the WiFi information and we never find it, she kept saying was because the weather, what weather??? If the weather was beautiful, my husband called again asking if we can come to the house and see if we can connect to the internet because I have work to do, well she tells him that we can come outside because she was going to sleep, I was very upset, we went and nothing, next day were about to go to the store and she was outside so I ask again about the internet she help me right there and we where about to go and the WiFi disappear from my phone and my husband phone, I don’t even think she has internet, well today as we about to leave, we give her the key and my husband tell her thank you, I approached her and tell her about the internet in a nice way, all I said was that I was not happy because I have to do work in my tablet and I lost 3 costumers, and she act like she didn’t care, she said don’t worry you going to find more costumers, that’s not the point, the point is that I lost money, then I tell her that she lied about the rooms on her internet site and she went all crazy with me, she tell me that I have to give her an apology and all this crazy stuff, she’s the one that owns me an apology and she should return some of our money back because everything that happens, so please check on a place before you book and read the reviews, because is not always as looks in the pictures, is...

Amazing, enjoyable, relaxing n peaceful. If you are wanting the "Hilton" impersonal experience this is not for you. Carol is the ultimate hands on hostess, warm, engaging n accommodating at every turn. Thanks for catering to our mut, "sugar baby."

Loved the deck swings, hot tub, Gulf view, humming birds n blooming vines. The home cooked Belgium waffles were a hit with our grandson n who doesn't LOVE biscuits n gravy, (Carol"s gravy is to die for)..n I don't usually eat biscuits n gravy! Gathering at the table with other guests was like eating at mom's dinner table where we learned of other guests bird watching adventures! What fun. Carol thanks for an UNBELIEVABLY fun n relaxing weekend. Thanks too for your extra attention to Ed. he is actually doing tons better with his blood pressure. Not only was it a great time, but the best part was making new friends! God IS good n we ARE and were blessed to have spent the weekend at the homey "Down by the Sea Bed n Breakfast" Bryson is already planning our next trip but this time with "the sisters." If I could give this place a zero I would, the place is completely outdated and moldy, it leaks and floods when it rains and the owner is an absolute terrible person, including her Daughter, the place went from decent to a crack house over night. There's always tweakers around the house, to where I'm afraid to even let my daughter outside at night, they all started acting awful once we stopped doing all their dirty work, or fixing the place when it's their job. They scream and my mother, my daughter, and me for no reason at all. The shower didn't even work the first three months there and just leaked onto the kitchen floor, there's also mice and cockroachs everywhere, there's literally bugs in the microwave, and everything fabric surface smells like pure mold, and couses my mom to have allergy attacks, from the black mold in the walls. It was over all an awful place please never rent...
