We got to Our beach house Thursday evening (the house was 1320’ from the water) and was awesome. Went to the beach Friday morning and spent most of the day (loved it ). We learned with a permit ($10 ) bought at a local store you can park on the beach , that’s right load your stuff and back up to the water and park . If you have (or want to rent ) a golf cart you may drive that too , along with a side by side on the beach . Lots of people but not crowded or loud . On Saturday some people set up a camper on the beach . I have read some bad reviews condemning the people but not the beach . We had a pleasant experience with both 10/10 recommend . Side note visit the Jamaican jerk chicken trailer you will not be...

Water was nice. Not clear but not gross. The waves were huge. And the under current had me on high alert. We came in on a Wednesday and stayed at a beautiful new air BnB about .25 Miles from the beach. No crazy drunks. Everything and everyone was handling themselves with respect. No sharks. No trash. People was as you drive or walk past. We were in a palaris. Did see beach control. It was very nice. No crazy seaweed or trash. And the new construction is crazy the houses are beautiful definitely a place to go with family and get yourself a air BnB. They are all new because of the hurricane that came through and knocked all the old houses down. So I don't see how you could pick a bad place to stay down there. We...

I visited Crystal Beach for the first time this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The beach is clean, nice and well organized even when it gets busy. I really liked that you can park your car right next to where you set up your things instead of leaving it far in the back like at other Texas beaches. From time to time trucks pass by selling things like shrimp cocktail and shaved ice, which makes the experience even better. I tried the shrimp cocktail and it was delicious. For amenities, there are portable restrooms as well as some cleaner options available. The highlight for me was the sunset, absolutely beautiful and worth...
