I visited this beautiful beach one cloudy Monday morning. I was in search of waves to surf. I was not completely let down. The beach itself is really nice. The sand is soft, there are not many rocks. The beach is very long, but as far as I could tell there was only parking on the far side near the motel. The water was refreshing and not too cold. It was about 67 degrees in early August. There were lifeguards stationed along the beach. A good beach for kids I'd say because it has a lot of room. Nice place, I hope to return as soon as the swell picks up because I feel like only got a small taste of what this beach has to offer for surf. I saw a point break near some rocks and there is a lot of beach break as well.

A hidden gem. I was planning to go to Good Harbor Beach but the parking lot was already full for non-residents. As we were driving to find another parking area, we came across Long Beach. Parking was $20 on friday and they have restrooms and shower. The beach was sandy and water was refreshing and clean. I cant wait to go back.

Great family beach with a good parking ($20 on a week day)and amenities. The restrooms are clean and updated and they also have showers. Next to showers they have an ATM and vending machines.

Our unit was very spacious and there was plenty of room for 4 people. Having only one bathroom was kind of inconvenient, especially because the hot water did not last long enough for even one shower. Ceiling fans only go on one speed and the air conditioners in each room would not work consistently. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, so we could hear every single footstep and conversation around us. The occupants in the unit next to us were outside in the parking lot laughing and having a grand ole time until past 11pm the first night. The second night, the same people were on their patio smoking and talking loudly. Not only could I hear their entire conversation, but the smell from their cigarettes filled our unit. I reached out to the property to make a complaint and they responded quickly stating they would remind them of the quiet hours and no smoking policy. Clearly they didn’t, because the occupants next to us partied loudly for another couple of hours. If you cherish your sleep, pick a different property! They also charged us a $175 property fee which was NOT disclosed...

Absolutely love this beach. Restrooms are where you park your car. 20.00 all day parking. If you have a lot of stuff in a wagon, there are no ramps, so you either have to pull it through the sand, or carry down stairs. This is on the side next to private beach and parking. Not sure what the have down the other end. Restrooms close at 7 pm. There is also an out door shower where the kids can wash off all sand before getting into the car. Picnic tables are there also. Do not recommend eating on the beach. The seagulls will come...
