Beautiful beach with fun waves for the kids! 🏖 🌊 They have a nice food shack with a lot to choose from with very reasonable prices. We went a few days ago and the only downside was no one knows how to read signage or understand what social distancing or the usage of masks means.. (Maybe about 20% of the people were okay). When we first got there everyone seemed to follow the “stay 12ft apart“ on the beach part and set up their stuff with a decent distance, but once they started letting lots of more people in it seemed like everyone was setting up their stuff 3ft close to everyone. This was very aggravating considering.. Also, there was this guy that started throwing up on the sand right next to where he was sitting and didn’t even try to clean it up. Poor guy didn’t look like he should of been in the hot sun all day. With all the negative experiences we encountered I still give 4 stars because it’s not their fault on who they let in and it’s a beautiful beach. But they should consider not letting as many people in as they do, it was a...

A beautiful beach! We got here on low tide, and the tide goes way out. Plenty of area for tide pools, and very child friendly. The tide does come in quickly, even so you can walk a fair distance and the water is at your ankles!

We had a cloudy start to the day, but cleared up and had a nice off shore breeze. Only thing is it’s $45 to park on weekends and $40 to park during the week.

You do need to make reservations in advance, I believe it’s up to 10 days out prior to the date you want to go, you can pay for it online. Just google search Good Harbor Beach Blinkay for parking. Just show them the confirmation email once you get there and you’ll get right in to park.

The parking lot is huge, fits roughly 450 cars, so plenty of spots. It’s a good size beach and spreads out, not as wide of a beach due to the tide, but still very nice. There’s no shells or rocks, so you can go right in the water without hassle.

Otherwise, go and enjoy a beautiful day at Good...

Good Harbor Beach is one of Gloucester most beautiful beaches. While there are other beaches that are equally beautiful in Gloucester, this one has some pretty incredible sunrises. If you get there a half an hour to 45 minutes before sunrise you get to experience a special surprise of sunrise pre-gaming. Even on majorly overcast and cloudy days, you would find that this beach will still have a gorgeous sunrise. The color experience is better than the excitement of opening up a brand new box of crayons when you were a kid. I feel like Crayola should have a new color called Gloucester sunrise at GHB. While there are various coffee shops to visit in the morning around this area, I like to visit Cape Ann coffees for their peppermint mocha coffee Delight. One special request, if you're visiting the beach and happen to see any Trash laying around, I encourage you to please pick it up and help keep our beaches...

A beautiful little beach located in Gloucester. Clean and family oriented. The parking is outrageous at $25 to $35?? for the day! It has a small concession stand that of course it is overpriced. The quality of the food is poor! (Its just part of the beach vibe experience.) Do you self a favor, and pack a lunch!! Don't forget the sunscreen and supply's there are no stores within walking distance. There are very few trash barrels. As your packing to leave for the day, remember to take out what you brought in to the beach. Now, if your looking for the classic dinner at the end of the day. Were bathing suits, suntan oil and beachwear are acceptable. My recommendation, is for that old Yankee eat in the rough vibe! Go to dinner at the Lobster Pond or for the battle of the clam, check out Farnham's or Woodman's in Essex. D.

Probably the best beach on the North Shore. This is an amazing stretch of beach in Gloucester. There are public porta-potties and even an ice cream shop. The sand goes very far and there is plenty of space for several families. Great sand for games and castle making. The surf is not too rough and there is even a side channel where the little ones can play and go look for snails and crabs among the rocks. The seagulls are pretty bad so keep a close eye on your food. Parking can be a little expensive if you’re not local but if you go during the week or close to 5pm parking is free. Parking is also free on the off season and there is free parking on Nautilus road with beach access but that gets picked quickly so come early if you want a spot.
