It was a decent campground, grounds were clean and the ADULT staff were very nice and helpful. We had no issue with quiet hours, everyone around us was respectful of the times That began at 11, and fires out and in campers/tents at 1am. Pool was very minimally heated, and the little kidzone was ice cold my daughter couldn't enjoy it. Craig's cruisers was right next door as was 1 gift shop, and a chicken joint. This is a pretty crowded park. A lot of jeeps, dune buggys, trailers, and atvs, again expected as we were by the dunes. It was hard to drive through as people just stayed in the middle.of the road or came whipping out in front of you on their bikes or scooters or skateboards Onto the not so great.. during our stay, only 1 bear came out once a day and that was for the hayride at 10. The bear was very cold. Kids would wave and try to hug and talk to him and he just stood there. When kids would wave from their campsites, the bear would ignore them . During the hayride, the girl riding with the bear just looked very bored and bothered and offered no interaction, until the very end when she would say oh yeah. Does anyone wanna sing a song.. and was not very lively. She spent the whole time holding the bears hand and had her arm around his rubbing his arm. Very minimal activities, and the teens running the activities were more interested in talking and hanging all over each other than being present with the kids. For the ladybug craft, the 2 girls just stayed in the office leaving people who walked up looking around wondering where the staff was. I'm glad they're moving away from the Jellystone name next year. This is more a park for the dune patrons as they're right there by the dunes vs the family oriented yogi resort that my kids have enjoyed. Again. It was a decent enough park with friendly and helpful ADULT staff, but not the family oriented Jellystone resort we've enjoyed at other Jellystone parks.

The grounds weren't too big nor too small, and had bathrooms and washrooms readily available and very clean. The pool was the perfect size and warmth, and fun every day. The grounds has a general store for your basic needs and a few souvineer shops walking distance nearby. A great chicken bar with a cover band that plays can be heard every night by the campgrounds. A mini fair and putt putt golf course is also next door, where you can do go-karting, zip lining (seated) a few more rides and an arcade. There is also a small lake to fish in neaby that has bass in it. The whole experience was fun and VERY dog and child friendly, and everyone was cool and chill (both workers and campsite neighbors). The only drawback imo is that the campsite does get boring after a few days unless you plan to get out and drive to new places (at least this is coming from a 25 year old where I am too old to get around and play all day with toys and too young to just sit by a campfire all day). Like always there is more fun here with the more people you bring along.

Jellystone Campground at Silver Lake was a lot fun. This Campground is designed with kids in mind. There is an outdoor pool that is quite large for the kids to play and swim and an arcade near the pool. Throughout the day there is a activities for the kids, and usually it is posted near the camp office. Near the front of the campground you can find a play structure and a pavilion. During certain times of the day inside the pavilion they well play movies and cartoons for the kids. The lots are spacious and have electricity and water hookups. The camp store has plenty of amenities, should you need but it is also more expensive then a normal store. I liked the location of the location of the campground because it was near everything Silver Lake has to offer. Right next door within walking distance was Craig's Cruisers (go-karts, putt-putt, zip line) which we took advantage of the and kids loved it. My one complaint is that the campground has a strict curfew at 11 pm and it's strictly enforced.

So disappointing...we have been to a Jellystone Park every year with our 2 grandsons for 8 years now. This is the first time at Silver Lake Jellystone. We were so disappointed, from the minute we pulled in we knew we had made a mistake. The site was so uneven that we had to borrow 4 cement blocks to get our travel trailer level and our slide out was so close to the neighbors fire pit that we were concerned all week. The activities for the kids were null and void. Our boys love to see the characters and they literally come out 2 times a day for about 30 minutes. Usually one character at a time. They did a bike parade and the golf cart carrying Yogi went so fast around the park that the kids couldn't keep up and the parents were literally running to try and keep up with their kids. The crafts were so lame. They brought out 6-8 rolls of crepe paper for the kids to decorate their bikes. Fortunately we had brought our own decorations. The only decent craft was tye dye shirts. Our boys like to get Jellystone t-shirts/sweatshirts every year and they didn't have any in the ranger station, they ended up with Silver Lake Sand Dune sweatshirts instead. The boys were bored. We rarely leave the park because there is so much to do at Jellystone, but that time we left nearly every day to find things to entertain the boys because the park activities were so lame. Thank goodness for Craig's Cruisers and the sand dunes being so close, but it made for a much more expensive vacation. They have one very small playground that is geared for little tikes. The park itself was clean, the restrooms and pool area was clean and tidy. There was some sewage smell at times but I guess that can't always be helped. There are just so many more places in Michigan/Indiana that we can go and have way more fun. We made the best of our week with the grandsons because we look forward to that every year, but we definitely would not recommend this park as a Jellystone Park, its just a campground, period. We won't be back. Even our grandsons said on the way home, let's try somewhere else next year, that wasn't that much fun there. So disappointed. We will be heading back to our all time favorite,...

We loved our experience here - for the kids.

If you don't plan to stay out late and you sit by the fire like a mouse after 11 pm this is the campground for you!!! Don't get me wrong we absolutely loved this campground. They are just extremely strict on their rules, understandably, being a family oriented campground. We had a large group of about 15 adults and 5 children under 4. We put the kids to bed and the adults like to have their adult time. If we weren't literally whispering to each other the ranger would politely ask us to bring it down a notch. At 1 am if you weren't in your camper they told you it was after 1 and you had to be in your unit and to let the fire burn out on it's own. It's all in the rules and wasn't a surprise to us. We knew this going in, we just didn't know how strict it would be since it was a holiday weekend. The only thing that took us by surprise was one of the members in our group came outside of their motor home to have a cigarette after 1 am and the ranger told him/her they had to get back in the unit. Allowed him/her to finish their cigarette but was so shocked at how strict it really was. We all kind of discussed we may have liked it better if it was midnight down to a whisper and 2 am in your unit, but again it is a kid friendly campground and the kids LOVED this campground!! I do not have kids myself but I have nieces and nephews that came to enjoy all of the activities.

The wifi was extremely bogged down - possibly due to the holiday weekend, no one had cell phone service on their phone if they were with Verizon, one person in our group had an AT&T phone and had service - not a big deal to me other then when someone was already out grabbing things from the store and we realized we needed something else. I like being disconnected while camping - my other campers with me.... not so much.

The location is PERFECT!! Within walking distance to everything - Parrot's Landing Jeep rentals, putt putt, stores, go carts, swan paddle boat - literally so much to do! The kids never got bored and neither did the adults! We will definitely be returning with a better understanding of the strictness of the rules. That way we won't be...

First time staying here. Overall it was good. The location is great and the staff was friendly. We will be back mostly because the location is great. There were a few things we definitely thought could be improved upon. 1 - the bathrooms were ALWAYS dirty and frequently out of toilet paper or had stalls that were locked while unoccupied. I don’t know if this was kids locking the doors and crawling out or if they were out of order - there wasn’t anything posted. 2- Showers were also very dirty and water was lukewarm. 3 - There aren’t any pull through sites and aren’t many full hook up sites. We had a back in site and it was VERY tight - several cars had to move in order for us to get in these. The site itself was very large and well maintained though. 4- There is only one dump station in the middle of the park and the way the one way lanes are set up you have to go up and down every lane to get to it. So that was a pain. 5 - Somethings we usually see at other campgrounds that weren’t offered here were - being able to leave a card on file for store purchases (very handy with kids), wood delivery, and text communications about anything going on or if you have questions. The last part don’t really matter much though because within a couple miles radius of the campground we had zero cell service whatsoever and despite the fact the campground has WiFi - we weren’t able to get on it…and it wasn’t just our cell carrier either, we asked other campers. We don’t go camping to sit on screens but there was some bad weather and we couldn’t look up things to do or get directions to places we wanted to go or call home to check in on things. BUT despite all the things that we felt were lacking we will be back next year because it’s a great spot and the campground as a whole was taken good care of aside from the bathrooms and showers. I saw the bathrooms being cleaned right before we checked out and that was the only time I had seen it done over the course of 5 days. They don’t really have anything to offer in terms of food but there are plenty of places within walking distance to get a bite to eat and being right next door to a lot of...
