Chaparral Motel — Hotel in Hallettsville

Remodeled room; very nice. Bed & linens nice. Ice machine at the back of the building. Shower water volume too high; builds up in the tub while you shower because so much comes in so fast the drain can't take all the water away fast enough. No bar soap; shampoo & body wash liquid dispensers in the shower and by the lavatory; all same fluid. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast bar/buffet has no protien food items (no eggs, meat, cheese, etc.). Breakfast choices are coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal (3 types), waffles, bread, butter, jelly, red...

When visiting Hallettsville, TX don’t pass up this motel. Manager Yogi and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The goodie bag with snacks and cold water was a nice surprise we have never had before in our 30 years of traveling. The rooms are updated and includes breakfast with great coffee choices as well as many extras for the modest price. The rooms are very clean and everything works. Big fluffy towels, hot water and beds are clean and comfy. We will stay again when we go to the valley...

This a pretty good place. The bed was waaaaaay more comfortable than any motel 6. The room was clean and free of imperfections.

The TV kept saying that is couldn’t connect to the network even though we were watching it crystal clearly. The message would not leave the screen. We finally gave up and looked out our phones.

There were 2 extra end tables in the room that were out of place. The room did however have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
