Carolina Lodge — Hotel in Hampton

Honestly, if you look around the general area of Hampton, you may notice that the only other option you have to stay at is Das Inn.. From personal experience, between the two, choose Carolina Lodge. ||||The people at the front desk are very friendly and we stay at this hotel every time we come down to Hampton. We're not sure as to how the other rooms look, because we're always guaranteed the same exact room each time we come down... But from our own personal room, they've upgraded the furniture, carpet, sink and bathroom within the past couple of years. It is very cozy. ||||The only downside to this hotel really is the mattress on the bed. It's not the MOST comfortable, but not uncomfortable to the point where it's not possible to sleep. The room was nasty dusty ,the bathroom was so nasty the top on shower was so dirty,the tub looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time,a dirty ring around the tub,the baseboards were dusty,black nasty n falling down,the faucet in the shower was falling down dust every where I would not refer this motel to anybody they need to clean there rooms a lot better it was a very bad experience,I also took pictures of the bathroom n the lamp in the room but everything in this room needs to be cleaned I work at a motel if I had cleaner I would have clean the room myself n the room at roaches I don't like giving a bad review but I thought somebody needed to know so take the time to read my review I would gladly appreciate it thank u and I have sent u pictures of everything thanks...

Well looks can be deceiving!!! Gentlemen at the front desk was extremely helpful and nice. We had 3 rooms all 3 rooms where extremely clean. Way better than the days inn just up the road!!! And the beds where so soft yea the sheets could be upgraded but other than that I can’t say anything negative about this place. Also the bathrooms were remodeled, with walk in showers, and tile floors. Idk where these negative people are staying but it wasn’t here. Maybe u had a chip on your shoulder just because of the way it looked on the outside. And u had an attitude with the guy up front and he was just returning the favor. Oh well no bugs that...
