I want to say that this place was clean, I didn't have fear of picking up bed bugs. That's a major positive.
What did earn my not so stellar rating is this:
We were told that the room sleeps 5. When we checked in we were told the room has one queen bed and one king bed. They must think that 3 full grown people want to share a king bed. When we asked for a solution they told us they could provide a roll away for 10 dollars. We accepted, I wasn't happy about the charge but at that point it was fine. We were told they would bring it to our room. After a couple of hours I sent my daughter out to ask about it and they said that we had to go get it because they couldn't deliver it because it was too heavy. At that point I'm wondering why I'm paying them to use the bed, but wait there's more. We get the bed to the room and two of the four wheels are detached from the bed, and the two that were attached are barely hanging on. We were tossed a set of bed linens and left trying to figure out how to get a broken bed to work. After some tinkering I took the other broken wheels off and got the bed to sit flat on the ground.
The exhaust fan to the bathroom didn't work, you have five people in close quarters after a long day of hiking and dinner... you get the picture.
The layout of the room was bad, picture a rectangle of a footprint, one bed one each end of the room, TV one one end the same side as the air conditioner. One side can't think because the volume of the TV has to compete with the AC unit and the other side can barely hear.
The AC unit was the junk type where the fan doesn't stay on. So while trying to sleep/listen to TV you have periods of silence and fan running. I didn't sleep very well.
The room had no place to layout clothing or toiletries. No chairs, just a couple of stools (two, for a room for five).
Customer service was not good.

Read moreWe had a fantastic 2 night stay at Mountain Ridge Cabins. Self check-in was a breeze and what's impressive is that all the details for check-in are sent via text and email so there's no confusion. Checkout is just as simple.
Our cabin was adorable. It was also very clean and comfortable. The perfect size for my husband and me. Keurig coffee maker available at the front desk if you want one. The manager was lovely to talk to and she gave us insight into a few of our restaurants choices and the nearby Laundromat (of which we took full advantage).
Bryce Canyon is so close and there are several restaurant options nearby. There's also a convenience store, a gas station and a cute coffee shop.
Every night they do smores at the firepit. We wandered over on our second night and had great conversations with people from Wisconsin, Germany and Montreal. Even though we were exhausted from our Bryce hike, it was nice to connect with fellow travelers.
We plan to return to Bryce someday and when we do we will only stay at Mountain...
Read moreQuiet, peaceful, and very comfortable! We're on a mega road trip from Atlanta, visiting several National Parks and seeing America in the little ways. Our "cabin", which is sort of like a "tiny house", was similar to a nice hotel room - two queen beds, mini fridge, microwave, large bathroom and shower. And if you need to get your TV fix, there's a 50" screen for streaming. You park directly outside your door, which has two large porch chairs. If you want to socialize, there is a fire pit, but not too near the cabins, so it was very quiet. ||My only disappointment was it stormed at night and could not star gaze..oh well...lol. But, hearing the rain on the roof while lying in bed was a treat. Quiet and silence is under appreciated, and staying here was wonderful. Check in is super easy since the cabin door is unlocked and in the morning, just drop the key in the box.||Close proximity to Bryce Canyon and not far from Zion and Grand Staircase. Thank you for a...
