The Falls at Reed's Island — Hotel in Hawaii

When I first came across this property online, I thought it might be too good to be true! I first found it a few years ago, and when my Fiancé proposed, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. We booked this as our venue right away and planned the entire wedding around it. Jack was so friendly and easy to communicate with, considering how pristine the property is I was concerned we might face high fees or strict rules but he was so easy going and VERY easy to work with! The rules for having an event were straightforward and clear, things such as max occupancy and no driving on the lawn, were very basic and easy to follow.

Due to the global pandemic our wedding plans were halted and we were left waiting with the rest of the world to see how things developed. When we reached the point where we needed to make a decision and cancel our destination wedding to keep the safety of our loved ones and the Hawaiian community as our top priority, Jack was right there and took great care of us. Although we won’t be getting married at The Falls At Reeds Island this year, the experience of planning our wedding here and communicating with Jack for the past 8 months was a positive experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone. We plan to book a stay for our anniversary, and can’t wait!...

The owners of this property have thought of it all. The moment you walk through this open concept estate, you immediately feel the calm and love. The air smells of lavender. You can hear the calming water just below. They set up the kitchen and other rooms with arrangements of flowers and a guidebook to help you get the most of your stay there, they even have a bag of chargers just in case you need one. We got married just out on the grass area with the waterfall right behind us. Jack provides tables and chairs if you need them, and was very helpful with suggestions on where to take our guests for dinner nearby as there is a limit for how many people are allowed for a reception. We had the most beautiful stay the days leading up to the wedding, and it made for a very intimate beautiful wedding. We cannot thank the owners enough for providing this gem to the world. There is no place better than this not only on the Big Island, but really in all of the world. 10/10 recommend. There's also a Facebook page dedicated to keeping up with cancellations . That way, if your date isn't available, perhaps you will have luck with a cancellation...

Words and pictures won’t accurately describe the experience of being in this house. The interior is spacious, simple and elegant. 360 views in all rooms brings the beauty of the property indoors. I could sit in the kitchen watching the waterfall for hours. Coqui frogs, a family of wild boars, and beautiful birds inhabit the property. The hot and cold soaking tubs are perfect for watching the sun rise and set. My wedding ceremony was held on the property and it felt magical. I feel lucky to have had...
