Great place — the rooms are spacious and attractively decorated. The king-size beds are firm and comfortable. It's clean, safe, and quiet — and definitely affordable for short- and long-term stays. Rooms have small alcoves with desks that are perfect for setting up laptops or "light" food preparation, and the standard dorm-style refrigerators and microwaves are more than adequate. The manager and his wife are always friendly and willing to help with any needs you might have.

The motel itself is one block from downtown Hawkins, Texas — which is the epitome of "small town USA" and could easily have been the subject of Mellencamp's "Small Town". There's a playground across the street, and the community center Pavilion is also there.

The larger towns of Lindale and Mineola are short drives away, and the cities of Tyler and Longview also easily...

The rooms are disgusting they're barely cleaned I got rented a room that was covered in hair under the sheets and then the owner tried to convince me that they were clean sheets and I insisted that he get me some clean sheets and then he didn't give me my deposit back when it was time for me to leave. Not only that but he also hit on me and tried to convince me to give him a back massage 🤮!! Not only should this place be shut down but he should have some type of charges filed against him at this point you can't even get in a room without him constantly knocking on the door if there's a woman in the room !!! Trust me the 10 mile difference to the next...

The rooms are nasty! I’m not the type to be extremely picky but this was terrible even for their cheap price! One bed had a pee stain on the sheets and hair in it! The shower had a used shampoo bottle and was not clean! The room smelt like smoke really strong, including the bedding! I felt like I had smoked all night! And worse of all the A/C was automatically hooked up somehow so we could not set it and it would turn on for 5 minuets every 30 minutes and the rest of the time it was fan only! It was 80-85 F all night!! Who can sleep like that!!! Don’t stay here if...
