My husband RIGHT OFF had to kill a tiny baby roach in the bathroom, THEN discovered the bolts that are SUPPOSED TO hold down the toilet are so rusted out from the water damage behind the wall at the base of the toilet,it was about ready to fall over into the tub,which we he had to ask for a shower curtain. DO NOT get me started on the female owner... OHMYWORD! I witnessed her screaming and being verbally abusive to the customers. Accusing one of lying when the lady kept saying she had visible proof of the false claims being made against her, FINALLY agreed to pay a $100 ticket and would be leaving ,in which the owner SCREAMED at the top of her lungs,"GOOD,AND YOU NEED TO BEFORE I CALL THE COPS ON YOUR 🤬!" THEN AFTER THAT, I witnessed the same woman being hateful to YET ANOTHER customer, FLAT REFUSING him to use the bathroom after driving 15 STRAIGHT HOURS and needed to go BADLY, and even though he had booked AND PAID FOR MIND YOU, online, she wasn't going to let him unless he paid a $30 early sign-in fee JUST TO GO TO THE BATHROOM FOR GOODNESS SAKE! OH, BTW, I was having surgery on Monday,October 23rd in the evening,so we went down the night before and asked the guy at the front desk if we could get a lower level room, and SUPPOSEDLY there wasn't any available,THEN LIED about how many steps would lead to the 2nd floor. "There's just one step up,then the landing" is what he told us. Jason counted them bringing the remaining items in the room. There were TEN,YES TEN STEPS, unlike what the guy said the night before. THIS is what my foot looks like after my surgery. HOW IN THE WORLD was I to make it up 10 steps like THIS? There's NO WAY POSSIBLE! I took this picture once we got home.

It won't let me rate no stars This is the worst Wyndham hotel I have ever been to. The rooms were nasty. Seems like more of a pay by the hour place. Not recommended Blood on the sheets. Mattress covers were black Bed spreads had burn marks Even a pee stain on the sheets I was told i would get a refund by the clerk on duty 5 to 10 days, after deciding to call to check, was told there was no refund being processed at that time, I asked to speak to the manager was told that he would not be back until the 15, I spoke with another individual that said he would check on it, and to call back Wednesday which i did, and was told there was no one there that could help me until December 9th, when I called back on December 9th was told manager out until the 15th, when I called on that day they said the manager would be in at 8am on Saturday, called on Saturday they said manager wouldn't be in till the 18th calling today the woman that answered the phone first hung up on me, when I called back she said the manager wasn't there and had no idea when he would be there but took. My information and said her manager would have to talk to wyndham because wyndham gave me 4400 points,(the points mean nothing because after this ordeal I'll never stay at another wyndham property but she would have to see what wyndham said about a refund, whyhham already told. Me I would have to contact the property for my refund. I keep getting the runaround on my refund. And remember I couldn't even stay at the property it was too disgusting This is with out a doubt the worst hotel that I have EVER stayed at

Overall I'll give the room a 3 due to maintenance and cleanliness areas of opportunity. Management needs to create a checklist and personally check each room after maids clean rooms. Obviously delegating has failed, thus management's involvement. All issues are documented with pictures: 1. Black mold on the bathroom walls. 2. Poop left in the toilet. It's been there for a while as it was starting to disintegrate. 3. Worn-through white splotch in the center of the mattress. 4. A bent exterior window screen - replace it 5. A collection of dead stink bugs on the interior window track. One live one is flying around the room right now... 6. Totally missing fire alarm - by code, this room shouldn't have even been given to anyone 7. Cracks in the bathroom wall. No shampoo 8. Fridge has seen better days inside and it wasn't plugged in when I came into the room 9. Heavy amount of dust on the base of the TV and headboard 10. Dead fly behind the light cover in the bathroom wasn't exactly attractive. Pop off the cover and remove it... 11. Trash still in the trash can. On a positive note: the neighbors are quiet (assuming I have them), the room doesn't smell, and I can see my car out the window.

Overall I'll give the room a 3 due to maintenance and cleanliness areas of opportunity. Management needs to create a checklist and personally check each room after maids clean rooms. Don't bother. When checking in they ask for a 100 dollar cash deposit, Then when you leave they demand the original receipt even though they give you a copy and keep the original. Was suppose to stay with my baby, walked into my room after paying the cash deposit as we drop 11 hours just to get there. Used the bathroom after putting my son's car seat down. Laid down in bed and bed bugs came out of the mattress. I grabbed my baby and went back to the front desk where the rude women yelled at me that I wouldn't get a refund, and I asked for my deposit back she asked for the reciept, I gave her the copy I was literally Just Given by her less then 20 minutes prior, and proceeds to ask for the original receipt even though SHE checked me in, then proceeds to tell me my room smells like I brought an animal with me (it was only me and my 10 month old son) and that they were keeping my cash deposit anyway. I left to figure out sleeping arrangements obviously with less cash because they wouldn't give me my money back, was forced to stay at families which I would've done if they had the room for me and my child to begin with. I call the super 8 on the way out of town and they proceed to tell me I won't get my deposit or money back, then I let them know I'll be reporting it to my bank, and that they have camera footage of me checking in then leaving very shortly after, they proceeded to tell me that the camera footage wouldn't be there by the time my bank called them. I called corporate again today, and the location, both of which gave me the run around but was all I needed as proof for my bank to reverse the transactions with the super 8 motel. Don't stay here unless bed bugs, roaches, and rude foreigners are your thing. They speak in a different language insulting you right in front of you and expect you not to understand. I posted about my experience on tiktok to warn others to save them from the experience I went through. Don't even bother.

Contacted the better business beurro, and an attorney for putting me through the stress with my 10 month old. The narrative at this location needs to end. Stop stealing people's money, and actually fix the place up. My son's car seat STILL smells of the muck from the motel. I feel bad we even walked into that place and I'm embarrassed for anyone who chooses to stay there.

They don't know how to treat people, or run a business.

You won't find it under my name because it's under my husband's I absolutely will NOT be calling that location back after a women and then a man told me two different stories as to why I wouldn't get a refund. The man said no deposit was paid (knowing I was forced to pay one because every guest is) and the women said my room smelt like an animal after me being there for 20 minutes. Then after telling them I was calling corporate then actually doing so You guys didn't do anything STILL.

The better business beurro and insurance company loved knowing you guys refused to give people their deposits back. Clearly after reading reviews after the saty, I used other reviews as evidence that not giving people their deposits back is a frequent at that location.

If your actually interested you can check the video of your MANAGER screaming at me yesterday on the phone refusing to give me my refund it was uploaded on tiktok to warn others of the location issues so they can save themselves money and time and grief and skip this establishment all the if they are expecting to have a...

My husband and I drove 11.5hrs straight and were exhausted. I was 3.5 weeks out of shoulder surgery and was struggling passing a kidney stone and had a swollen knee from moving all of our stuff....I shouldn't have been doing any of that nor driving a vehicle. But someone had to drive the cats and our car while my husband drove the uhaul with our stuff. We found an amazing deal on booking.com to this motel at a pit stop so we forced ourselves another 40 mins to drive there. We were so exhausted. We did see it said a deposit all hotels have one. Nothing new there. But they wanted cash? In my 42 years I have never, ever been asked for cash up front before. And I have traveled to third world countries where they do hustle you for money. I didn't go into the place my husband did because I could barely walk I asked him if the person at the front was from here. He said yes but she looked like she was on drugs. So it got me thinking maybe they are laundering money? Because why couldn't they just take it from my cc I used and then give it back at the end of my stay. And oh by the way....I'm at a much nicer place down the street from you guys paid more money and I added on another day too. It's not about the money it was the fact that we don't have any cash. We literally are relocating because my husband lost his job. This economic his bad. Living off credit cards at the moment. And have some job opportunities in another area. If I had the $100 I would hand it over since I'm getting it back. We can't even pay the car bill next week. I'm just disgusted thou....how you operated. And I'm waiting on my full refund still. And I'm not stopping here with this review. I am very persistent. I will be back in the morning for another photo for my social media accounts!!!! We need to look into this money laundering business! Yelp is next and BBB!!!!!! Oh and AMEX the card I used....and my social media accounts.....do you even have a license to collect $100 from each client that stays there. No one in this economy has that nowadays....we all are struggling? Hmmmm.....Maybe the FBI needs to look into this drug addict up front that my husband saw! Maybe I should get a picture of her....since technically we can get a photo of whomever now! Basically stay away from this slumlord place unless you do drugs than be my guess! Just becareful the $100 you're getting back, may have just been rolled up and up her nose a few...

This establishment will require you to give $100 deposit upon checking in and then they will try to give you a reason that is absolutely ridiculous as to why they will keep your deposit the day you check out and unfortunately the Wyndham hotel company guidelines do not offer an appeal process or an option to dispute a establishment owned by Wyndham hotel if they decide to keep any money or deposit a customer / member gives upon checking in if you call customer service or corporate office which I did and request for any information in regards of how you handle a matter like this if the owner manager staff members of that establishment is absolutely in the wrong for keeping your deposit and you have proof of that matter you will be told they do not get involved in disputing deposits or any money issues and there is nothing they can do about it the only thing you can do is take it up with the staff and owner and manager of that establishment s so in short you are basically being told you are going to be robbed and your robbers are the ones you have to complain to about being robbed do not stay at super 8 hotel on Fairlane road in Roanoke Virginia cuz they will absolutely discriminate and keep your deposit. And I'm sure they pick and choose certain classes of customers to keep their deposits and which ones to not in other words I'm highly doubt they will keep the deposit of a well-known doctor or attorney or police officer versus a mother of three that is in the middle of a divorce leaving her abusive husband and has very little money to afford a hotel and used her window rewards points to get a room for the night at no cost cause no problems during her stay and was in tears by the time she left $100 shorter than what she came into the hotel a day earlier all because she does not appeal to their judgments the reason behind keeping my deposit if everyone must know is one picture taken by the staff member of a washcloth that had my...
