WoodSpring Suites Roanoke — Hotel in Hollins

Hi everyone! This hotel does not have a pool or hot tub however it does have workout equipment. Inside the so called gym there is no way to wipe down the equipment and their treadmill was not working. I did have a little trouble using my phone because their internet was not working I did ask for them to fix it but it never worked. It said I was over my limit of guests on the internet though there were only two guests in the room. There is no breakfast here so if you read there was a Continental breakfast this is absolutely not true. I stayed on the second floor it came with a stove a fridge a microwave but no oven. There are no dishes to use no cups no silverware no plates and no coffee maker. There was only one trash can in my room it was in the bathroom. There was an oily slimy film on the floor I had to keep a towel on the floor to continuously wipe my feet before entering the bed. Perhaps maybe the first floor will have dishes but not sure. We stopped here unexpectedly to stay for a few hours of sleep. The only reason they get two stars is because it looked clean and beds were decent. The lady at the front was nice when my husband checked in however, there was nothing in the room except for furniture. No toilet paper, tissues, soap, coffee...nothing. we needed just basic amenities to wash hands and go to the bathroom. They said they didn't provide those for us since we had a short stay that would be discounted..? The lady did say would have breakfast from 7-11 a.m...no breakfast. No wifi while we were there. We got up to leave about 5 hours later, around 7 a.m. and there wasn't anyone to collect our keys. No way to even talk with someone about getting toilet paper. She said the front window doesn't open until 9 a.m.... No breakfast and she wouldn't even take our keys. Someone was there as she would only talk to us through a roll down type window. We had to push a bell several times just to talk to her. She said, just leave the keys there! We aren't open until 9 a.m.! It was the weirdest and most frustrating stay I've ever had. I won't...

This hotel is terrible and I would never recommend it to anybody. We got in about 9 PM from driving all day and we were exhausted. Only one person working the front desk and we waited 45 minutes just to get our room. We go up to our room and our room is filthy, it looks like somebody had laid in the bed and left the TV on. The window was open. There was hair all over the blankets. The counters were not wiped down. About 10 customers were going back to the lobby to get a refund. We waited in line for another 45 minutes to get my refund only to be told that they cannot issue it. Since I booked third-party, they told me I had to get reimbursed from the third-party, even though I paid at the hotel. I am still trying to get my reimbursement back. Terrible customer service !!! A gentleman had been there since 5 PM and the front desk lady said she would have to check everybody in the lobby in, and then she could go clean the room as she was the only one on the staff working. Knowing that the hotel was fully booked, they should’ve had multiple staff on the clock.
