So we have kind of made this place a tradition, had a great time last year all three times we went and had a rough experience this time, but not due to campground or the weather (which was beautiful by the way) but unfortunately we picked a time to go that was too soon after my boyfriend had been released from hospital. He spent most of his time in the tent sick and I just kind of hung out, set up our campsite with a living room area in front of the fire and played games or watched movies on my tablet.. Lol. Thanks again mom and dad for the gift, I use it constantly and think it's the best gift ever! We were, however, able to make our annual trip to the Marina to get little Dexter his ice cream. The campsites are set up pretty well, the only problem I have experienced is a place to set up a tent. Seems the tent kind of camping has all but disappeared. Some sites seem to have a decent place for a tent and some just don't. The site we had was equipped with a pretty good hill and then the concrete slab. I eventually set up our tent kind of in our neighbor's back yard and alot closer to the road then I like, but due to the 10 pm curfew, I didn't hear cars or RV's driving by us all night. I am not aware of any area at Table rock that is designated for tent campers only, so you will see a fellow tent camper sparatically throughout the park, but almost everyone has a R V of some kind now, and we are definately keeping our eyes open for a small used one we can use from now on. It would be beneficial if you are using a tent, to drive thru Tablerock and look around for a site that suits you. If you aren't in a prime time of the year and have a choice you can look for sites that have the more level area to set up. And of course, it would be great if they offered a free wifi service, but hey, we go camping to get away from all that right... All in all the area is beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful, 1 of the campground staff came over and helped us unload my boyfriend's electric wheelchair and stayed to have some coffee and chit chat so I think anyone going to the park will enjoy the experience. Oh 1 last thing, in the last photo, don't ask, I have no idea what's happening...

We have been camping at Table Rock lake for over 15 years this was the first time staying at a state ran facility rather than the Corps. Of Engineers facility. The shower and bathroom was not always clean and there is not ventilation so extremely hot. The boat ramp closes at 10p.m. So if you are a bass fisherman fishing at night don’t consider it, as well as it being right on the main lake it was the roughest ramp I’ve had to put a boat in at and we go out in ocean. We also had a bad experience with the campground host as well as park rangers involving parking a small vehicle off pavement, however boats and trailers are allowed which was not a problem for us we just didn’t know the rules, we were reprimanded like children over the incident very very unprofessional and ruined the back half of our trip. Will not be staying here again I suggest any one of the Army Corps. of Engineers...

Reserved our campsite off of the picture they have posted of it on their website when you book. We got here (in September) and it looked like this. The picture is incredibly deceiving. The first one shows it is covered in grass and is large enough to put a tent. In reality, it is the smallest site we have ever seen and covered in rocks, no grass. We were unable to put our dog stake down or our tent stakes. We called to ask for a refund 10 minutes after we had gotten there at 3:45 and were told no because it was past 3pm. The office supervisor came down and said we could put our tent back in the woods (with all the fleas and ticks) and that was his only suggestion for where to put the tent and said he wouldn't gove us a refund even though the pictures were misleading. We packed up and went to another campground. Won't come back here again or recommend...

I spent a quick night at this campsite, arriving at sunset. I unfortunately cannot say much about the services as I only utilized electric and filled my tank up with the water. There was sewage I just didn’t require it on a short stay. The sites are paved and fairly level. Mine was easy to back into, the last in a roundabout. It was a fairly busy campground but everyone seemed respectful and quiet hours were adhered too. I didn’t use the showers or their washrooms so I can’t say much about those. I arrived after hours and the camp host diligently stopped by to check me in and provide me my tags. This was really appreciated. Easy to follow the signs to the proper campgrounds. I did get a view of the lake through the trees but again didn’t stick around to check it out.
