We spent a few nights here on our trip through the black hills. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely friendly and directed us to our spot. When we were getting situated we went to hook up our water hose but we were in a spot that we had to use one of the neighbors water spigot ( there is a shared water spigot between every two spots). Not a big deal, but our hose would not reach that far. They were nice enough to let us borrow a longer hose for the duration of our stay. The grounds were kept very clean, and the amenities were great. There is no Wi-Fi but I got perfect cell service on T-mobile. Enough so, that I was able to stream movies on a stormy night from our camper. The highlight of this place is the beautiful Lake. We spent most of our time there fishing and swimming. Although the fish are pretty small, the fishing was great. The location is also great. It is about an hour drive to most attractions in the Black Hills area. We would definitely...

This is a hidden gem! Wow I was so impressed with the grounds, the Rv hook up and the lake. I kept continuing my stay it was so great. There is a lot of unique things to do in the town of hot springs. I enjoyed the camp ground having walking trails. Every evening I was able to sit on the hill in a quiet and peaceful place to meditate. The lake is super clear and feels amazing, I felt like the water was healing. There is water sports activities to rent. There is cute cabins if you don't have an RV. There is laundry and a store to get things you need. My dogs loved going walking around the lake and the trails. I felt like I was in a high end resort with all the amenities. The price is rather cheap for what all your getting. The views and the environment are very peaceful! If your looking for a place in the black hills this is one that is worth the drive from the parks and gives you so...

Hiddne Gem ! We stayed at Cabin 10.

I'll do a pros and cons.

Cons. There is only air in the bedroom, the wall unit is loud and smells like mildew. Open the window it's better.

Pull out sofa, would not sleep on that if you paid Me. Old old and bumpy. Kids barley slept.

Their shop is not yet open, no ice to buy. No coin changer ( coin operated washer and dryer ).

All minor cons.

Pros. Absolutely beautiful and secluded camp ground. Hosts were kind and left you be. Water is beautiful. Kayaks a plus. Paddleboards, outdoor games, shower house.

This camp is small it actually feels like CAMP. It's not a KOA which is essentially clamping. And we absolutely loved hidden lake. We had our bikes. We had a fire pit. The cabin had everything you needed honestly. We plan on coming back to hiddne lake again just bc...

We really enjoyed our stay here! We pulled our camper about 6 hours to get here from North Dakota. It's beautiful and peaceful. There was construction in town so it was difficult to find at first but we finally found it. Lake is a lot smaller than I thought but it was so pretty and full of fish for my boys to catch as it's catch and release only. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We rented a paddle boat 2 whole days for $50 which for us was totally worth it! Bathrooms were clean and water pressure good in the showers. I would recommend, and have recommended, this place to my friends and family. Check out Cascade Falls! It's so beautiful and nearby. Get there early to get a good spot and pack a lunch, you'll want to stay all day.

A True Hidden Gem! We just stayed at Hidden Lake Campground and had such an amazing weekend. This place is seriously a hidden gem! We live in Rapid City and had never even heard of it before, but now we’re so glad we found it. The lake is beautiful, super clear, you can see all the way to the bottom. Our dogs swam for hours, and the kids had a blast fishing and playing in the water. They also loved the playground, especially the tire swing. We even took out the paddle boats and kayaks, which was awesome, and the best part is they’re included at no extra cost! Everything was really clean and well taken care of, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Just a really great place run by good people. We’ll definitely be back!
