We spent a few nights here on our trip through the black hills. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely friendly and directed us to our spot. When we were getting situated we went to hook up our water hose but we were in a spot that we had to use one of the neighbors water spigot ( there is a shared water spigot between every two spots). Not a big deal, but our hose would not reach that far. They were nice enough to let us borrow a longer hose for the duration of our stay. The grounds were kept very clean, and the amenities were great. There is no Wi-Fi but I got perfect cell service on T-mobile. Enough so, that I was able to stream movies on a stormy night from our camper. The highlight of this place is the beautiful Lake. We spent most of our time there fishing and swimming. Although the fish are pretty small, the fishing was great. The location is also great. It is about an hour drive to most attractions in the Black Hills area. We would definitely...
Read moreThis is a hidden gem! Wow I was so impressed with the grounds, the Rv hook up and the lake. I kept continuing my stay it was so great. There is a lot of unique things to do in the town of hot springs. I enjoyed the camp ground having walking trails. Every evening I was able to sit on the hill in a quiet and peaceful place to meditate. The lake is super clear and feels amazing, I felt like the water was healing. There is water sports activities to rent. There is cute cabins if you don't have an RV. There is laundry and a store to get things you need. My dogs loved going walking around the lake and the trails. I felt like I was in a high end resort with all the amenities. The price is rather cheap for what all your getting. The views and the environment are very peaceful! If your looking for a place in the black hills this is one that is worth the drive from the parks and gives you so...

I'll do a pros and cons.
Cons. There is only air in the bedroom, the wall unit is loud and smells like mildew. Open the window it's better.
Pull out sofa, would not sleep on that if you paid Me. Old old and bumpy. Kids barley slept.
Their shop is not yet open, no ice to buy. No coin changer ( coin operated washer and dryer ).
All minor cons.
Pros. Absolutely beautiful and secluded camp ground. Hosts were kind and left you be. Water is beautiful. Kayaks a plus. Paddleboards, outdoor games, shower house.
This camp is small it actually feels like CAMP. It's not a KOA which is essentially clamping. And we absolutely loved hidden lake. We had our bikes. We had a fire pit. The cabin had everything you needed honestly. We plan on coming back to hiddne lake again just bc...
