Upper Chautauqua Park — Attraction in Hot Springs

This was advertised and recommended to us as a natural hot spring to swim at, which was not the case. The water would be nice on a hot summer day but it was not very warm, let alone hot. The scenery was great and the red rocks were vibrant even in the evening light. It would be a great place to have a picnic or a mid-summer swim and there was a lot of playground equipment for children so this would be a very family friendly location. Pretty little park with some landscape architecture that alludes to a very cool history. Wish there were some interpretive signs to tell what it was.
